In just 3 weeks of practice Elisabetta Canalis proved to everybody here in USA, and to the worldwide haters(many from Italy!) that she has the talent and the perseverance to do well at DWTS. She failed to further progress because neither Val nor she had a fan base of viewers, not many people knew Elisabetta here. But now they know her and we all haters’ expectations for her to fail in USA, you might get surprised to have the opposite happen!!!

Have you ever seen a similar pro dancer behavor in training session, such as Val's? Yes of course: Maks, Mark, Lacey and the list is long. I think the best pro in BOTH dancing and teaching on the show are: Derek Hough, Dmitry Chaplin,Kym Johnson and Karina, because they never criticize, they always come with suggestions!

I like Maks & Val as dancers only - I gave them all my votes, but not as teachers.

She is not a great dance, but I think she could have learned to be okay at it. She had potential. I think her biggest problem was her attitude during the rehearsals - and since we only get to see like two minutes of it, I can't really say if she was provoked or not by Val, but her attitude sucked. Just goes to show that some ex-couples can't be friends... I wonder why the makers even bothered to partner them two...

i think she did wonderful. It was shame that they voted her out. she was starting to get the hang of it and do good.  now the show is loosing interest for me. the only other person performance i liked to watch besides Ely.. is Chaz. You got to admit. chaz can dance pretty good and it;s interesting to watch him. once chaz is out i'm done with watching it for this season. @Louisianawilly I doubt that's true. They use to date and did not end happily. It's all over the net... I imagine they both didn't make this very easy on the other during rehearsals. You could see the tension between them whenever they interviewed and definetely when they were on Jimmy Kimmel after being eliminated. You have to wonder what the show was thinking to pair them two together if they had such a bad breakup in the past.

Val was really tough on Elisabetta but at the same time I can kind of understand why he's so stressed out. It's his first season here on the show and week 1 he already landed in the bottom two, he just doesn't want to see that happen again I guess. But in the end, the resulting dance was pretty good!
