@MrDavid9182 Yes, this is the predecessor to the Bloody Star that was built by Rouricht. He was inspired by the Explorer and basically built his own version. Bloody Star has the same basic ship but is slightly smaller and is a Star Wars themed battle cruiser. It has a few improvements over the Explorer, particularly the rear landing bay door that tucks in underneath (my favorite!). His little fighters are nice too. Check out his video of it, it is pretty cool.

@GremlinsAndGnomes Just something I made up based on our own inner solar system. I kept the colors very basic and simplified the design so that it would flow with the Lego printed slopes. I added the comet so it would look like they were on a mission to check it out.

Well you need a very large Lego collection with a great selection of all the right parts and pieces for your model. If you don't have that then start small, like I did, and work on developing your technique. Study the best builders to use and improve on their ideas (and always give credit where it is due). And if space is your thing then lean your Lego purchases toward that theme. As you build and collect along the way you'll make more and more elaborate and skillfully built models. Good luck!
