Several years ago, in my pre-computer days, my son burned me a CD of my favorite music. This song was on the list I had given him to burn. As life would have it, that son is now gone..(RIP Pal).. Not too long ago, I was searching through here and came across the same song.. love the slower version and the solo is outstanding! Was stunned to see that it was recorded on the day that he was born 5-5-82. Jerry's gift to me? Maybe a message from my son.. "Hey Dad.. things are cool here" Maybe both?

This song is one of my favorites. When i heard him play jack a roo i was amazed on the solo's he did in that song and it was on acoustic. He plays the acoustic like if it was electric. wild and great. I'm glad i went on a trip with my brother. If not, i would've never liked his stuff.

Also kinda just throwing this part out there. Most bands try to hard when they sing and it kinda makes'em sound like school girls. But these old school bands just tell a story. They just go out and do it
