It was from the MTV movie awards, probably 1996 a year after "Seven" came out. They always do sketches parodying films that were nominated, sending up the "Oscar clip" moments from the Academy Awards. It is brilliant!

This is a riot! I've never seen this before. Shatner is the best. He's great in everything he does. One of my favorite things is when he was on "3rd Rock from the Sun" & talked to John Lithgow about seeing a guy on the wing of the plane he had been on. Lithgow said the same thing happened to him. This referred to Lithgow playing the Shatner character in the remake of Shatner's Twilight Zone. Great stuff!
