I just ordered an imaginary wireless guitar hookup kit. I am excited for it to get in and try it! I know I CAN buy a long ass cord, but the reason for not doing that is 1. I already have one. and 2. I used it at my gig last night and pulled it out from my pedal. that is embarrassing. I don't want to go through that again! Nice playing by the way!

No not that i've noticed unless you decide to go beyond the recommended range. its probably better than a lead because a cable is susceptible to crackling etc.

No you're not being dumb! The only dumb people here are the ones who don't understand my sarcasm. Yup they work with any instrument/pedal that has a 1/4 inch output jack. in a typical use you would attach a beltpack transmitter to your guitar which then wirelessly transmits a signal to the mains powered reciever which is connected to the amp. I should really do a video on all this...:)

Ok, 3 miles is obviously bs, the range is never THAT impressive(it's possible using radio frequencies tho...) But they do have wireless kits for guitars. Even if you cant find one, it's super easy to adapt a wireless LAV mic to ur guitar(most have a normal 1/8" headphone jack for the headset already, which is child's play to convert to 1/4"). They use wireless kits for professional concerts all the time. I can, and will gladly link you to multiple wireless kits on ebay.

Slash uses NADY ! The one you are looking at is however more a consumer kit than a pro kit. I`m sure it will do the job but it really got some shitty reviews. some really shitty reviews actually. its ultra high frequency(uhf) which is good. But its not a true diversity reciever which is why its so cheap. to be honest I`d save up more and get this Nady UHF-4/GT UHF Guitar Wireless System. And read the instructions well cos some of the idiots who reviewed it said they got a jet engine sound.

if you want a guitar wireless system that dont need cables, try to find on ebay or wherever an AKG wireless guitarbug. you dont need to clip the transmitter to your belt. it directly plugs in straight to your guitar

I never noticed any lag, I imagine after the 100metre limit you would notice interference or shitty signal but theres no lag. chances are if you are in a big band who plays arenas you\ll already have a professional kit. but this consumer kit is more than adequate for pubs, clubs, and reasonable sized venues. I might do a `how far away can i get with my wireless guitar` video based on your question.

haha lag : P, at higher distances the speed the sound takes to hit your ears is "laggy" but the actual system getting to the amp is the speed of light.

So remember that...sound takes time to travel, wireless sound does not.
