yay would have sound epic with low voices besides even though im a boy i sing the high parts and we sing a different version and the pianist didnt seem good
When I was in choir in 6th grade we sang this song, I believe it was a slightly different version, but to hear it again shows me how far I've come since then, I've been in choir since 6th grade, I'm now in 9th grade
@legojoey1998 thhats what i meantt. I wass tired that day. But thats still the right way to say it. we just finished it in choir and we got an excellent in the choir festival. Going to state.
Yes they are totally trying to sound French by saying tah-kay and they say moo-lan and they are good, but to quiet and I am in Middle School, also, and we sing it as
Jah-te-la-moolah and it is spelled tique tique taque and they say tah-kah and tik-ah so yes the harmony needs SO MUCH work. And why do they have books? We need to master the songs by heart.
study french and study this piece. "J'entends le moulin" is right and the tiq-tiq taq is part of the song. you're right that they do need work on harmony...maybe the should've have asked some men to accompany them w/ the tiq-tiq taq.
P.S. 3:40 is where they start to suck. they sure need to hear themselves...
not tryin to be mean but i sang this song and my teacher went to like a guy who speaks french and said how do you pronounce this and it is Jahn tah la moolah ticka ticka tacka
eew... no.... horrible.... sry... but first of all.. ur moving around way to much... u r moulin wrong.... no altos.... my 8th grade choir is singing that and is no offense... alot better..... ugh
moulin is pronounced moolah. Im in varsity choir in MIDDLE SCHOOL and we did this MUCH better. This Song Needs Dynamic Contrast and it comes in 2 part (EASAY) and 4 part. not 1. HORRIBLE.
ummm.....sorry but ya'll do sound like KINDA horrible. not tryuin to be mean but we're doin this song and we just started it and we sound like 100000 times better
look you guys are good and everything but you need a real low voice . the alto girls are sopposed to sound low & they dont im sorry but i had to sing that song with my 6th grade class that had 10 girls including me & 3 boys and we sounded a lot better than that . but i mean you guys r really good but you need low voices .i dont mean or anything . ~ SORRY ~
No offense taken. This was a volunteer group that met after school hours and was created so the girls could sing more. The High School wasn't very large to begin with and it's hard to create an Alto section when most of the girls sang Soprano in other school Vocal groups.
Musically this is Pretty well done! It sounds pretty weird though to hear a British accent singing a French song! I live in a French region in Canada and work with a French Acadian children's choir and I never cease to be amazed at the variations on a French accent! Is this an English (British) group, or American?
The group is actually from Massachusetts, and only a few of us had even taken French classes so we were definitely winging it! You may have thought you heard a British accent from the way we were pronouncing the words so crisply?
OMG you did there is no rose right before?! that's great! for NY all-state women's we sang that exact order. there is no rose and then j'entend. great songs!
