How to Make a Person Levitate in Adobe After Effects

Upgrade (if you already have a older version) is around 299/300 bucks.

Oh! You cut out your stool, select your stool layer, press "M", and the change the mask mode to subtract. I'm pressing the "M" key

Yeah. You have to have a green screen if you want them to be moving as they rise. But you can just take a picture, animate that to rise, and then when it reaches the top, play your realtime footage

im impressed by the young age of the makers of tutorials like this. i didnt learn how to do that until i was 15, a year ago. And you couldnt be older than 11.

either you can duplicate the background repeatedly or reshoot your footage in front of the exact same background. Or you could possibly shorten your actual footage. Show me the finished version. It sounds Awesome!!!

mi background frames are not as long as the levitation scene, so i cant rub off my chair and i dont know how to make the background shot longer.:S
