@hjdutch Actually you could call Petrosyan the decision.... but atleast he outclasses his opponents and doesn't break the rules....Buakaw would be the clincher/staller/runner...who does everything in his power to avoid getting hit even if it means he holds every 10 seconds and constantly breaks the rules...but oh yea he is a "Muay Thai" fighter so it perfectly okay for him to stall and break the rules....SMH!!!

@gohanmisticul Not what he used to be? He just came off a win over yodseanklai fairtex, in what became fight of the year. Besides an embarrasing loss to Rossmalen, he's been doing great. He's younger than Giorgio and both are in their prime. This will be a great match.

I saw the Daniel Ghita fight. Man Ghita has improoved his boxing A LOT. Beautiful exchange and counter. Pure KO, just what the doctor ordered. And his defence is also one of the best in the HW dividsion.

@Mannyz360 No he doesn't...and you have clearly not seen to many of his fights...He uses kicks very often...He only "fights more like a boxer" if you look at him defensively...as he incorporates alot more boxing head-movement, footwork and angles than most other kickboxers rarely use...But to say he fights more like a boxer is not true...He kicks alot in almost all of his matches...but he does have good offensive boxing to....he is well rounded.

@grkted51 yeah Kickboxers can make it Boxing if you remember former kickboxer Paul Briggs was a Monster as a boxer when he was in his prime and gave Tomaz Ademek all he could handle. they can get buy on their great stamina and good basic punches but lack the boxing finesse to become a p4p elite like say Floyd , Bhop or pacman but can still mix it up world level.

@kljeten I'm from the U.S. and I'm a fan of Boxing, Kickboxing and MMA. Kickboxers are the best p4p. It's a huge, huge, huge shame that K1 isn't more popular here. Do you know if K1's financial problems improved?

@crowley0312 As far as I know it was canceled in 2011 (WGP and MAX), and I don't think that they could make the tournament that big without falling in bigger debt. But there's this other organization "Showtime" in Netherlands that has the same rules set, I mean it is K1 but it's held more in Europe. It's as good as K1 in Japan was, because all the fighters are fighting there now. Theyr MAX division is sick how good it is, and the heavyweight division aswell.I'll send you a link.

I thought K-1 needed a year off and it will be back this year in good shape again. It feels like Petrosyan was robbed of winning it three times in a row. Is K-1 finished?

@crowley0312 I heard it will be bought of from Showtime or as you said FIKA, but there will be no fights or tournaments untill June 2012. Either way it's going to survive and continue, who buys it doesn't matter, just who wants to make it bigger. The deal with FIKA is not signed yet as far as I know. The contest is still open between them and Showtime.
