@gregrutz All right, since refuse to do research and insist on continuing, the proto-primates you speak of at the end of the Mesozoic era were closer to rodents and are not classified as apes. Up until the end of the Miocene there were few of the Dryopithecus and hominids. The great apes share a common ancestor but did not come from each other.
@Llynok Agreed, humans did not evolve from apes. All evolution does is to change the apes into different apes, primate ancestors to different primate ancestors, lemurs to different lemurs. Humans evolve to different ones, but they are STILL HUMAN. And came from other humans.
wholly fark - did anyone else see that, the test - was it photographic memory??? that was way too fast - if we evolved from them, y loose that special photographic memo trait?? maybe cos she has been doing it everyday for a yr or so but still, wooow..
@DorxII totally weird, i always wonder y when they r busy at something, they seem distracted n constantly look away - it cos they do not need to visually focus at it all the time, just a peek is enough... i think even dogs n cats do that 2, like tigers or lions when they r in the middle of their fight session n amongst the tension they look away - i also notice that even a mongoose looks away when it is right in front of a snake... or r they just using their other senses.. weird but amazing
These apes are a lot more hightly evolved than some so called humans.

@gregrutz ...And what I said was: humans, chimps, gorillas, orangutans and bonobos did not evolve from apes.
Llynok 10 months ago
@Llynok Yes, they all did, they all evoled from the first ape. And they are still classified as Great Apes.

We didn't evolve from modern chimps. We share a common ancestor.
