im on disc 3 in the outside part with all these high stats and when i start a battle my game keeps freezing :/ what are good stats so the game doesn't freeze?
I got this to work the first time, and I guess because I hadn't unlocked Fang in my party yet none of the mods worked on her character, she had her normal stats and all. So when I went back to try and Edit the file again It's not working now, It keeps getting corrupted. I'm doing exactly the same thing I did the first time when it worked, it it because it's an already modded file? Can you only mod one file one time?
@RikaNiriki I found out what I was doing wrong, maybe it will help other people too :) I was being too impatient and would rip my flashdrive out of the computer the moment the USB XTAF GUI said Done, but when I waited a good 5-10 minutes before taking it out, it wasn't corrupted anymore! I'm not 100% sure this is what fixed it but worth a try :)

@iamowe92 There's one for the ps3 but you need a jail broken PS3 to do it. As for save editors and such, IMPOSSIBLE....for now and possibly the foreseeable future. PS3 has really cracked down on their security even since the geohot saga.

okay I have a couple of questions. What if I am done with the game, like I did the first play through. All my stats are above 999, will it lower them if I change them all down to the 999 & 9999. I don't want to lower my stats, and also I don't want my strength and magic to lower either. So does it matter what your stats are at, and do you put how much gil you want or does it automatically do it?
so i was having an issue with the data being corruted like a ton of otherpeople on here, then i decided i was being dumb and realized that i pulled out the flash drive before i closed GUI which didnt put the final touches on it and gave me a corrupted data, so just a tip for all those out there who are getting the corrupted data issue make sure ur not going over something minor like that :P

Just a point of advice to all, I used this to simply up my gil and components to upgrade items and left the rest of my stats alone. I beat the game, saved, then loaded the "end-game save". No crystarium level 10, so I can't finish maxing it anymore. Fair warning to everyone.

@cryptien I'm not sure if anyone gave you an answer or not, but from reading from other forums: First off, make sure you have the editor unzipped into a folder, do not just run it from the archive. Secondly, your save should be saved in the folder "Modded FF13 saves" that' is a subfolder of the the editor's folder. Hope that helps.

I see what i was doing wrong...after i used the save editor i then used concept on the modded file...THEN i used the GUI program to delete the old save. after that i injected the modded file in its place...THEN i just slid the new file from GUI onto the usb drive...anyways it works u just gotta figure the shit out..thanks for the program and tutorial.
My guess is that you need to activate this editor later on in game..cuz i've been trying at the earlier levels and its not working. keeps saying corrupted.

i have followed the directions in the vid and comments precisely and while my game files are not appearing as corrupted. none of the values that i edit change. all edits are within reasonable limits for achieving in the game and yes i'm clicking save. i just tried loading from my flashdrive but no luck there either
@jamjam6202 ok i tryed it with mine and it worked perfectly, if u wamt tp buy 1 u can just order it online at amazon, best buy or target. u can also get it from the retail as well. if not go to game stop. also it could be that ur flash is corrupted or has not been partitioned. trust me i had the same problem it only took me 5 minutes
I see lots of people getting corupted game save file. I can't confirm it will help or not just try it. I added xbox tool CONcept 0.3. For download link look in video info.
@jamjam6202 , try this instead, before you make the save, ensure u have a bak up. and note that when u modd the save it wont mod the original. please be aware that some flashdrives arent made for high tech gaming consoles or for anything complex. anyway you may have to format your entire drive and try again. message me back if it doesnt work or id u have any questions
@jamjam6202 yes, but you must use a data transfer kit and plug into your computer. however doing this may require a DIFFERENT method as the gamesave mod featured is used for flash drives.
@PcXboxGamer the corrupted data can occur if you remove your usb too quickly. once the data is on the usb leave for 30 seconds. i have never had any problems when doing this. like so people can see.

@kidkendude ,too many 9's try not to overkill. also i remembered that when i modded sometimes you can only make a certain amount of changes other wise the file may become corrupted. howevver rehashing usually solves the problem
@michealharty Ah, the problem wasn't the file being corrupt. Just that it wouldn't want to keep the hacked save. But I found a way around it. You load up the save file from the USB. For some odd reason, if you copy or move the save data from USB to HDD, the modified stuff in the save disappears. So you load it up from USB, change devices, save the data unto the HDD. All done.
I just tried this and got it to work. For the people getting a corrupt file error I think maybe you missed a step. What I did was acess the original save file directly on the USB drive with the Xbox GUI program. Extracted the save file to the modded_ff13_save folder. Opened the file with the editor, changed the info, and saved the file. Went back to the GUI program deleted the original file, injected the save from the modded_ff13_save folder and closed the program. Hope this helps.

Well, i think you can do it. If you do it "slowly", and not 10 achievements in 10 minutes or something like that. I mean, how could Microsoft see, that you're using a modded singleplayer savegame, if you play it normally? And they cant disable your achievements only because youre getting a few achievements in a row.

AWESOME it works... whereas many others haven't
I find that if you change a few basic stats its ok but if you overdo it the game will freeze after loading the save file.
I am running a PAL version and did not require the concept software

i have followed the directions in the vid and comments precisely and while my game files are not appearing as corrupted. none of the values that i edit change. all edits are within reasonable limits for achieving in the game and yes i'm clicking save. i just tried loading from my flashdrive but no luck there either

@jamjam6202 ok i tryed it with mine and it worked perfectly, if u wamt tp buy 1 u can just order it online at amazon, best buy or target. u can also get it from the retail as well. if not go to game stop. also it could be that ur flash is corrupted or has not been partitioned. trust me i had the same problem it only took me 5 minutes

I see lots of people getting corupted game save file. I can't confirm it will help or not just try it. I added xbox tool CONcept 0.3. For download link look in video info.
How to use ?
1. Just start CONcept.exe
2. Open your edited game save
3. Press rehash/resign button.
4. Close and inject your game save back to USB.

@jamjam6202 , try this instead, before you make the save, ensure u have a bak up. and note that when u modd the save it wont mod the original. please be aware that some flashdrives arent made for high tech gaming consoles or for anything complex. anyway you may have to format your entire drive and try again. message me back if it doesnt work or id u have any questions

@jamjam6202 yes, but you must use a data transfer kit and plug into your computer. however doing this may require a DIFFERENT method as the gamesave mod featured is used for flash drives.

@PcXboxGamer the corrupted data can occur if you remove your usb too quickly. once the data is on the usb leave for 30 seconds. i have never had any problems when doing this. like so people can see.

@kidkendude ,too many 9's try not to overkill. also i remembered that when i modded sometimes you can only make a certain amount of changes other wise the file may become corrupted. howevver rehashing usually solves the problem

@michealharty Ah, the problem wasn't the file being corrupt. Just that it wouldn't want to keep the hacked save. But I found a way around it. You load up the save file from the USB. For some odd reason, if you copy or move the save data from USB to HDD, the modified stuff in the save disappears. So you load it up from USB, change devices, save the data unto the HDD. All done.

I just tried this and got it to work. For the people getting a corrupt file error I think maybe you missed a step. What I did was acess the original save file directly on the USB drive with the Xbox GUI program. Extracted the save file to the modded_ff13_save folder. Opened the file with the editor, changed the info, and saved the file. Went back to the GUI program deleted the original file, injected the save from the modded_ff13_save folder and closed the program. Hope this helps.

ive tried this on a few different occasions and it works fine every time until i try to move it back to my xbox hdd. when the modded save is on my usb, it will show up as corrupted data. any suggestions as to how i can fix this?

Well, i think you can do it. If you do it "slowly", and not 10 achievements in 10 minutes or something like that. I mean, how could Microsoft see, that you're using a modded singleplayer savegame, if you play it normally? And they cant disable your achievements only because youre getting a few achievements in a row.

it could also mean that an update for the game has been issued that patches this editor so look for a newer version
