I've found money before when I was a kid. WOW @ $50!!!!! You got it because your daughter didn't share. I think it was $20 or $30 and it was folded up and on the electronic mat.. you know before they had electronic eyes, they had the mats? Yeah, way back when. I gave it straight away to my mom each time. (more)
great stories! the only time i ever found $50 was when i was about 12, in puerto rico, a bunch of us kids would play hide & seek in tim & andy fishers' building because it was old and full of cool hiding spots. after, we'd sit on the stoop & one day a $50 bill blew down the street. we all saw it at the same time. we split it between all 7 of us. it wasn't the same as finding a whole 50 for yourself, but it was still great.
norm finds money all the time. $60 in the garbage pail at an ATM !
Hey there medicinesocks, I like to picture you as a kid in puerto rico, how was it that you happened to live there? Very civil that you all split the money and didn't fight over it , plenty of goodies for all. As for Norm some people are just lucky like that I'll have to remember to check the bank garbage next time lol. Peace.

We were fairly poor growing up, so ever penny was counted and that was a HUGE chunk of change back then.
Now I find money I've forgotten in my pocket. lol. Then it's just spent frivolously.
