  • Excellent , Awesome work :) , i am little bit confused in light wrap thing, how you have rendered it ? can be done by using white surface shader material ? thanks :)

  • @animationscope Lightwrap uses the alpha of the character pass as its basis.

  • @xanthitoki Thanks :)

  • Outstanding work. You have a unique and invaluable talent!

  • you should work for disney or someting like that :P

  • Superb :D

  • holly crap that is amazing. What render engine u use to produce such a great renders :) amazing

  • @darecarce Thanks.

Rendered in Mental Ray. Nothing particularly fancy going on. I just watch a lot of films, pay attention to the lighting in those films, read about cinematography. That sort of thing.

  • @xanthitoki GREAT i like the mood and atmosphere in the shots :)

  • when you render this did you render out each layer one at a time and overlap them later? or were you just showing the different elements in the scene

  • @Bajungadustin Yes, I rendered out the elements separately and compositied them in Softimage's FX tree. Some extra colour adjustments and effects were done in AfterFX.

  • I just Loved your work.

I'm into animation as well, I just started though :)

I've posted my first Demo showreel, it would be really helpful if you

could give some inputs so that i can Improve.

    Thank you

  • very nice work.

  • brilliant! I wish my work was as good as this! where are you working now?

  • @deadfish41 Thanks for the nice comment. I went to Bournemouth Uni too many years ago :)

I'm working at an animation company in the midlands at the moment. Called InspireGLG ltd.I have my sights set on animated films though.

  • @xanthitoki

Did you do the BA or MA at Bournemouth? I've just graduated last summer and working at Double Negative now as a matchmove artist. I want to eventually get into lighting though!

  • @deadfish41 Yes, I did go to Bournemouth! Well done for working at DNeg, they do some quality stuff there. I enjoy lighting character animation the most - just great fun to create atmosphere and light those little characters as if they were actors in a movie. Wish there was more of this work available.

  • I FREAKING LIKE IT A LOT !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • just 1 thing around second 34 there is a jump or something in the dress or just desapear, is just a blink, but u steel are able to see it everything else is just amazing ^_^

  • you are amazing!

  • Cool job! I really enjoyed. How much time you get to conclude the animation?

  • It's such a shame but it's unlikely that this show will ever be broadcast now due to a legal battle the company is in. I've found a new job now.

The average shot would take a day to set up and then polish.

    Thanks for kind words.

    Anthony.

  • Good work
