Alpacas are great!! Did you know that one alpaca male went for 600k!! Bcuz his fleece was that good! Alpacas are a great investment cuz of their fleece and they go for 5k-10k or more. Their easy to take care of and they cant bite you Bcuz they don't have upper teeth.

Everybody wants an alpaca!!! They are great investments because of their fur, it does take awhile to get a return though. I went to an Alpaca farm this past summer in Texas!

Pretty neat, thank you. I only wish when sellers are giving their sales pitch, they wouldn't use that ridiculous herd growth chart in the organization's literature (came from Oregon, initially, I believe).
Even though it is possible to have so many animals by just breeding, then inbreeding, it's still a better idea to get new blood in the line.
Has anyone ever gotten in trouble in an audit due to an animal being 'over-valued'?
Not insinuating, just asking.
