  • The dems say it is like cotton candy

    sweet tasting but short lived

    wow

will they even hear how pissedmoff people r with them?

  • @mrbb33 yes...come this next election...

  • I voted for Obama and straight Democratic in 08. But will be voting for Conservative Republicans in 2012. I have seen how ineffective Liberal policies have been the past 3 years, the debt has exploded to no avail (unemployment, downgrade, people on entitlements rising). The senate I think will turn Republican in 2012, so Republicans having control of both the senate and the house I think it would be a shame to waste it on a moderate president (Romney) vs a Conservative like Perry. Any thoughts?

  • @payazaiskoolx10 many people feel as you do....and romney will not be the nominee...the tea party people will see to that...:)

  • @payazaiskoolx10 Welcome, friend!

The 2012 election is shaping up similarly to the 1980 election, where you had

the liberal Democrat incumbent, Jimmy Carter = [Barack Hussein Obama]

The establishment Republican, George H.W. Bush = [Willard "Mitt" Romney]

The conservative Republican, Ronald Reagan = [Rick Perry]

I think this sums it up pretty well.

  • History has a way of repeating itself! Lets just hope that in this case it does! I don't think that Obama will be re-elected, considering he lost a district that has gone Democrat for the past 90 years . Looks like everyone is starting to reject the Liberal Democratic agenda, but one can't take it for granted (Get out and Vote next year!). But also Rick Perry (or other Conservative) winning the nomination is not inevitable, so I think we should tell Republicans that we want a Conservative!

  • Another Obama lackey sent home. A Tea Party candidate won in a very blue state. The Dems have to be running scared. 2012 is going to be a huge tide of Tea Party candidates going to congress.

  • @MrJohngalt2011 i agree..........:)

  • @MrJohngalt2011 You just put a smile on my face. I haven't smiled in weeks. Not only for your comment, but I've finally started reading Atlas Shrugged a few days ago ;o)

Looks like God will bless America once more.

  • @DontFriendInviteMe I have read the book about three times. very enjoyable read and the scary thing is that you see it is coming true. Most of the taxes in NYC is being carried by just about 400 individuals... what if say 10% or 20% of them move out of the state to say Texes (highest number Fortune 500 companies on the planet), what will happen to NYC? Will the end of the book play out with all the lights of NYC going dark? anyway, you will love the book!

  • @MrJohngalt2011 I had only started hearing about it this year. I've put off getting it for months for one reason or another. Everyplace where I live has either been sold out, don't carry it, or are too far to go to get it. This past weekend, it was so nice outside, I decided to take a walk to the library and read it. So far I'm enjoying it very much.
