I don't see that there is anything more odd in drinking milk from a horse then there is from drinking milk from a cow! Anyway most people go "ewwww" if you suggest they add expressed human milk to their tea ;-)
I have a pony mare whose second foal is now 2yrs & still suckling. I've just started on the process of gradual weaning, but now I'm wondering if I should be milking instead! I'll have a go tomorrow morning after the mare has been on her own all night & see if she will let the milk down?
OK so it has a nut like flavor, and it spoiles fast?

Eh, I probably won't be trying mare mild anytime soon but owning a draft one day is my dream!!!!
