holy effin shit, that is beast. CRAZY GOOD PLAYING! i love how yu kept adding more details to make it sound more and more like the original and it sounded soo good!!
Yao broseph where you from mang? I'm from canada and you have a good take on music, i liked how you said to listen to all sorts of music. By the way my name is Sean. Yao, check out my videos, im gunna throw up a shout out to you.
It depends on what your doing with the keyboard. I find Rolands best in Studio and Yamaha best for Live performance. Personally I have the Roland X8 as my main board and Motif XS module as add on.
Your guys are getting bigger and bigger. Bloody Awesome
If anybody wants to listen and give me advise on one of my first beats, let me know! The vocals aren't okay yet, but I prefer someone to rap or sing on it. Hit me up! :)
Hi, congratulations on signing with G-Unit. I've listened to your blogs for about a year now and was well pleased you got signed up. You inspired me, so I recently got FL studio and have been playing around on it. I've never been musically talented so it was really fun being able to make tunes without being able to play an instrument. I also am a huge Dr Dre fan it was his 2001 material and also Adam F's/M.O.P.s tune Stand Clear that got me interested in rap music.
So you actually learned yourself how you can play piano? Do you recommand taking piano lessons to other beat makers? Is all the time you put in it, worth it?
I think it is good. I was in the same situation as you when i was about 13(18 now) and talking the lessons really helped. Now i can play like Fur elise but also the teqniques you learn like chord progession and stuff is really helpful further.
Sure Dr Dre takes lessons now to improve his game so yeah
nice man... ive been doing that shit bout listening and trying to get the same note for like a year... a good way to learn faster is to find some webpages that has all the scales and chords like "looknohands" dot com... grat site and alsso has for guitar... byt the way how is it going with Gunit?
Elbe I have a question what is a "BAR" can you breakdown the definition of it, or what like musical scale it is or whaterver cuz I've heard different definitions with it, and when rappers rap witout the beat they kno how to count their bars....please help me wit this puzzling dilemna
thanks, that helped out. Anyways I see you go to NYU, I'm interested in the clive davis program myself. I was wondering if it was hard to get into NYU and the program itself. do you have to have a huge music background. the only thing I been messing with was Reason. I don't have a large background or anything. hit me up in a message.
Amazing ear for music. I wish I had grown up with the interest of music I now have, maybe I would've picked up some talent with instruments. Great work as always.
thats dope!!!! you got music skills and knolledge fam i got a question i know you get alot so i hope you can anwser how do you know when the right note is on the black keys or white? thanks ! keep doing what you doing one
thanks bro! the black keys and white keys are different notes. i think ur understanding of the keyboard as a whole is a little confused but its all good. id suggest looking up some traditional piano lessons on youtube and learn some basic scales. hope that helps, peace!
That's right you should be thinking of every note as an individual and not as a group e.g. (C and C#). But I think what tiktwiceman meant was probably how to differentiate two notes that are closely next to each other. This has to do with frequencies and a lot of people have problems with differentiating two notes that are only a few frequencies apart of each other. It even goes that far that some could have a pitch perception deficit but don't wanna scare anyone tho.
Thanks for your tips man, I like to replay songs, I also reconstruct songs, but it just takes me way too long, I need 1-3 days to reconstruct 1 song, whereas other people are able to replay complex chords and melodies (even if it's jazz) within minutes.
I hope to see you dropping more knowledge, YouTube is flooded with generic beatmaking videos now lol

kwamthegreat 3 years ago
you count a bar like this:
1, 2(clap), 3, 4(clap) > that's one bar
theres another definition of a "bar"
1, 2(clap), 3, 4(clap), 1, 2(clap), 3, 4(clap) > that usually goes with one Rhyme
