  • So now I know your secret! Lots of caffine! My R1200R (as most of the newer Beemers) has a temp display on the computer. When it gets close to freezing, it blinks to warn you of possible icing conditions. Next gift to myself: A heated vest.

  • Were the pink arrows just for you?

That big car scrapped a biker. You should have thrown a rock at it when it passed you.

  • at 2:37 a tree in the intersection? Very strange, NYS cut that thing down and remove in a heart beat, too big a liabilty. Good video LJ

  • Pink lines....lol.... SQUIRREL

Do you ever notice the more you look at a word to see if its spelt correctly it looks wrong....

  • @TheNovascotiaboy Like the word, "squirrel?" lol

And, yeah, my brain seriously works like that. Oh, shiny object!

  • @lauriejennifer xactally... i actually had to google it....it was 5 am why i wrote that.... gimme a break....LOL

    Look... BUG

  • Somehow I don't think it warmed up 15* in two miles :) I do think you can probably warm soup in your top box... =-)

Sadly, I would have allowed it, but it's the second entry posted on Dec 2... :(

  • @L0udP1p35 What?? Oh... freakin' youtube time difference. I thought i got it by midnight. :-( That sucks. I rode December 1st and December 2nd. Well, from here on out, hopefully I'll be able to get them up earlier.

  • At least you don't sound like a total crazy person before coffee (unlike me) lol.....I am sure that freezing cold ride would do a good job of waking a person up.....

How good is a supermoto for long trips? I mean comfort wise...I think I am falling in love with motos lol

  • @Sharpmusicmedia i believe she said its a 2X4 with wheels before

  • @jhardy66617 Yeah, pretty much. It is more comfortable than the Ninja 250, because it's not as cramped, but it is definitely tough on the butt region. I found myself standing up and stretching a lot. Next time I wouldn't do 6+ hours a day... *shudder*

  • @Sharpmusicmedia Well, I have a video where I talk about a recent trip to Kansas City and back (1500 miles total in 1 week). It's brutal. I would definitely do it again, but I wouldn't try to cover so much ground so quickly. I'd limit myself to 200 miles a day, *MAX*. That way, I could really take my time and enjoy exploring the back roads, while staying fresh and only spending a few hours in the saddle each day. I would limit it to 3-4 hrs/day. 4 would be tough.

    For touring- KTM 990.

  • @lauriejennifer ive taken a 96 F3 to indy, 180 or so but highway. god dam is it boring on a highway. the really bad part for me is im uncomfortable just staying in one spot, all my joints get tight(knees and shoulders from wrestling) and ya. 180 miles and we stopped once to rest and once for gas

got there quickly cuz we were doin like 190 but id rather take nice backroads with no traffic and take more breaks for peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches er something :D

  • Your poor nose. I bet it was running away.

  • @easydoz1 It was trying to run back inside!

  • LJ is like female Al Bundy- selling shoes and cursing at the world while draggin her feet to the pooor ol' lawnmower. Sry - KLX I mean - ;)

  • @Snowhite808 Ha, no way! I love this bike! :-P Wanna race my lawnmower??

  • @lauriejennifer I'll race You anytime anywhere. Just have to wait until our 2 ft of snow clears out. But you are smart using the rain protectors on gloves. The wind is the biggest efect on cooling the body down. If you have - use something similar to the body also and you'll feel it a lot warmer since you take down the windchill about a half atleast.

  • @Snowhite808 Race would be fun! Meet at Road America? Just 3 hours from me... ;-)

My jacket is 110% water and wind proof. I have yet to get chilled riding in the cold. Just have trouble keeping my hands warm, even with wind blocked.

  • @lauriejennifer Invest into heated gloves and/or grips. Best thing ever and it will save you from bad trouble with your hand in the longer run. I know what could can do to your bones - even when you are young or so. Man - that race would be funn!!

and I'm just like a gozillian miles away. hmm - I wonder - usually with the time difference people are asleep over there. so I get a reply like next day or so- so - LJ must be a vampire also - not getting any sleep ha!?

  • Very nice ride LJ....footage was clear ...almost like being in your seat..I was begining to get the chills :>)

  • @jimhikeat Thanks! I love this camera, for sure.

  • see you are having trouble with temp read out the same as me. The little red line is my main problem.

  • @moose3971 Yeah, I'm just going to stick to bank temps, even though they tend to read high.

  • So -2 in REAL measurements :)

  • @leapoffaith20 Some might put it that way. :-P I'm sorry if the Fahrenheit system is just too difficult for you. I'll try to remember to dumb it down next time. ;-)

  • Lol riding in 29 dgree weather? Xd your like me.

  • @DarkShogun16 29 feels great! It got up to 35ish this evening and I busted out the summer gloves! *sigh* Is it Spring yet?

  • the world without caffine is brutal

  • @67kneil *shudder* I can't imagine such a world... Frightening...

  • Its funny how you waved at the FEDEX guy and then the bus :p, Im gonna do that to random people when i ride!

  • @oMikeHawk I love waving at people, especially in the winter. In the summer you get smiles. In the winter, you get blank, horrified stares... sometimes followed by a smile. It's hilarious.

  • PBC 2 ?! I must have missed the first one.

  • @ToastToGo But I know you found it!

  • howdy

  • @DanielTorres65 Hey there!

  • I like those bark busters your'e rockin, where did you get them? do you think it would be better to buy full size bark buster? like the acerbis ones?

  • @505laddie They're Moose Racing handguards. I had to have my levers welded into shorties to fit, though. I actually have since added guards over the metal. I made my own out of an empty ammonia bottle. :-D

  • It was 65 degrees today and sunny. Took the windshield off the Harley and went out for a beautiful spin. I wonder how it feels to be cold?

  • @cashstore1 I'm trying to feel bad for you. I really am.

  • "not with the camera going" that is win!

  • @1toomanyhobbies Yeah, that's just how I roll. It's my way of pleading the 5th. You have a right to not self-incriminate, without the exercising of that right being an admission of guilt.

  • Hay, LJ I just bought my stuff to winterize my bike, but lately when I see one of your vids - i'm starting to feel like a wuss!!! : )

  • @ozuhas Aw, you're no wuss! Lots of people (most) don't ride in the winter. I'm insane. But there are more of us. Polarbearchallenge has a ning site. You can find the other motovlog participants listed there.

  • Yes a thermo on the bike Is a pain in da azzzz!!!! I was thinking that when you put it in the box!

  • @navythomas8 Yeah, I forgot about the exhaust. I'm sticking to external thermos from now on.

  • awasome vid about time u done anthoer one been a while you mustve been busy

  • @kd4ysi Just put one up yesterday! But, yes, a dry spell before that. I've been very busy. Personal family crisis.

  • 1st

  • @stuie195 2nd
