  • Just have to tell you thanks for this video. I have the same fridge and without your tip on the hot line, I'm sure I would have ruined it. Awesome. Just awesome.

  • @ 2:56: "I'm scared." LOL I'm with ya dude. I just bought a Whirlpool compact fridge and the thought of drilling through the topis scaring the shit outta me!

  • You lost me at cornstarch

  • at 3:19sec....WTF IS THAT GAY SOUND HE MAKES

  • Thanks for posting this great video! All my friends envy my new kitchen kegerator setup!

  • That was a very good idea never thought of it !!! But i have a full size Refeg and it's white any ideas > I want to run a CO2 line in

  • Chris, thanks for the video it helped me convert my 4912 into a keggerator. My question is I have moved the CO2 tank out of the fridge and ran the lines threw a hole in the back, now im getting small puddles of water under my fridge and ice is forming where the hole in the fridge. Is this normal? my fridge is working just fine. Did you drill a new hole in the back for the CO2 line? THanks Chris.

  • got the fridg for 30 bux at salvation army

  • Sullybags=owned

  • haha iddiot didnt turn off the fridge before he drilled it!!

  • the fridge light was off, indicating that the fridge itself was off.

  • why does he have to turn the fridge off? he wants it on so he can see where the hot line is so that he doesn't drill through it...

  • did it have a freezer in it to begin with? if not can you convert one with a freezer for that some purpose?

  • Great tutorial. Awesome trick to remember- I just bought a used fridge : ) And give your cameraman and editor a pint on me!

  • is there any way to convert the sanyo sr-433s fridge(the one with the freezer) into a kegerator?

  • That was a neat trick with the corn starch

  • I wish I knew about that trick when I built mine. I learned the hard way where the tube is.

    Aaron

  • Where did you get that fridge?

  • Where do you drill the hole for the co2 lines ???

  • I don't think that there are any small enough ti fit in that with two kegs. I couldn't fit my 5lb bottle in mine, so I drilled two holes through the right side for the co2 hoses and had no problems until I drilled into the top.

  • I wish that I saw this video before I killed mine. I found that one line in the top with my drill. I had to throw away the fridge. Even the experts couldn't fix it.

  • Great Video. is there a 2nd part to it?

  • I am about to buy a conversion kit and would prefer to change the CO2 tank as little as possible. Does anyone know the largest CO2 tank that will be able to fit in the 4912 along with the 2 pepsi kegs?

  • 5lbs but you can run a hose out of the drain hole of the fridge and keep your co2 outside.

  • Very good information... I will be tackling this project this weekend. Thanks!

  • THanks for the video, I am planning a kegorator for the new year! Any other suggestions?

  • I was pretty scared watching you drill that thing but it was cool to see the old corn starch trick in practice. Good stuff.

  • I was actually thinking about doing the same conversion on the same model. Thanks for the video Chris, it will come in handy.

  • Cool!
