I visited this synagogue in 2001 before the bombing, it was amazing to be in one that was so old. The Jews living in Djerba are the original descendants from the tribes of Israel. One thing that was amazing about Djerba is that Muslims, Jews, and Christians lived in peace. The bombing was carried out by an outsider. We could all learn a lesson from the people of Djerba.  Hate will get us nowhere
