  • The Flying Burrito Brothers were one the greatest, talented, and most influential bands of all time.

We miss you Gram Parsons, keyboardist "Sneaky Pete" Kleinow, and drummer Michael Clarke. God Bless your souls.

Your music will live on forever.

  • @ObamaHappens hi, i know gram played keys on this album, and you know sneaky pete played pedal steel, really i am not trying to be a smart ass just saying, and i agree with you they were one of the greatest bands there ever was

  • I think Gram's moose knuckle might have been influenced by Mick Jagger, too.

  • Such a shame about Gram....what a waste.

No wonder Keef was crazy about him.

  • i love this song.....is anybody have the solo tabs please !!??

  • There must have been a self destructive part of Gram - something that made him have contempt and cynicism for success. Looking at this early vid if he kept up more with a pop vibe and less of a weird pre-disco mariachi burrito brothers - I bet these guys would have been a huge hit. seems Gram knew that and decided to go a 180 on this direction

  • Oh, my Good lord. Was that one fun song, or what? I do love the Burrito's, too bad none of my favorite recordings are not on. But, that tune was just one of the wildest from the Burrit's that I could have imagined. Wow, so early too.

  • I read that when Gram hung out with the Stones it caused a few tensions similar to the Mick/Keith/Brian triangle - looking at this video makes me think that Gram is ever so playfully taking the Mick.

  • This is a good song. The video is half cheesy / half great, but very interesting.

    Thanks for this rarity.

  • LONG LIVE G.P. !

  • Great video - is Gram practicing some Jagger dance moves? Thanks for posting

  • Gram WAS GREAT I THINK HE WANTED TO BE A STONE I R&Roll HEY Man SOMESTIMES U LOOSE INTREST CHECK OUT THE Jungle YOUTUBE WE LIYeD IT TRAGIC I LOVE G P BILLY

  • @firedfordrinking agreed!

  • Fine find. thanking you kindly :)x

  • Is anyone else picking up on the Jagger-esque sashaying from Gram here?

  • This sounds more garage rock and bubble gum rock over the folk rock and country rock styles that they are more known for.

  • This is a rarity, Gram Parsons doing a pop song which even sounds bubblegum, and on top of it looking sober for a change....wow!!!!!

  • A sober Gram Parsons...a rarity.

  • Buffalo Springfield at 2:14

  • such a shame that Gram left us so early in his life, he was a musical genius and today's music still has not caught up with him

  • thats Michael Clarke on drums, original drummer of the Byrds ...

  • Where was this recorded? Looks like Marina Del Rey.

I once met Joel Scott Hill on a boat in MDR cerca 1997. I know he played with Gram some - is he in this video? Is this his boat?

Great music & vid - Rock on !

  • Naw, this is GP, Chris Hillman, Bernie Leadon (Eagles) and Sneaky Pete. Who knows who is sitting behind the kit, but it ain't JSH.

  • What the hell is this!! Thnks brother for postin this!

  • You know, the older guys really got it all worked out.

  • this song doesnt country..Gram Parsons is a genius

  • Is Joel in this one?

  • gram rules

  • Ya gotta think that this is where the vocal layering and countryrock attitude for the Eagles solidified in Bernie's head.

  • definitely alittle of Mick there,,, lol, this is after Nellcote,I presume,

  • Pre-Nellcote, but definitely Mick-influenced, as he was hanging with them in '68 and '69.

  • I got to say I tripped out on this cruise.....nothing these past three decades has changed much..... still very spendy living down on the Beach, and the Burritos are still rocking out this now older guy's space!

  • they are the beeest! and the best song from them

  • very mick and chris robinson!...damn gram was an archetype - brilliant....copied....Compared to F.B.B. the Eagles were a plastic dry fuck. but gram wanted to party with the stones in France instead of continue to work with this band...read all about it anywhere. This is some raw, real soulful shit...fuck what the traditional country community had to say about it at the time!

  • Very "Mick Jaggerish" from Parsons. Bernie Leadon was a really good guitar player.

  • pretty rockin sweater vest there, chris

  • hahaha i love gram

  • At this point, you can see how Gram, through his mannerisms, idolized the Rolling Stones.

  • Gotta love them! Chris Hillman is THE MAN, and Parsons make me think of Brett Anderson, in a way...

  • gram is god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • No, no, Mick does Gram after these years. Gram Parsons is the holy original.

  • @janeiltube I AGREE with you 100 PERCENT!!!

  • was year is this?

  • i'd say about 1972?? at earliest.

  • it was 1970....damn, see what drug's will do to ya.....they were fantastic,,fun group.

  • damn... i should of be so much more into the f.b.brother's than i was then...i just thought,, how can you be any better than the byrds......dang it.

  • bernie leadon looks so young

  • I dig them tight white pants...once again Gram offered the total package.

(there's a color version of this but it don't have as good sound)

  • Oh yeah, I dig the white pants too. A great video and I you're right there is a colored version out there and it doesn't sound nearly as great as this one.

  • The older guys DO really got it all worked out !

  • You gotta love Youtube.... man Oh Man never though i'd live long enough and be able to press a few buttons and see cool azzsss stuff like this that I did'nt know exceisted...

  • from around 1:12 to 1:25 watch gram...definitely been hangin with jagger!

  • You can tell Gram has been hanging out with the Stones - he's very Mick Jagger in this. Any idea what the lyrics of the 2nd line are?

  • The 2nd line, Rustbucket is

"What or why, it's all on another day"..

  • They're sort of doing take off on Beachboys here.

  • Adorable! did the color version get pulled?

  • Love it!

  • Damn weren' the Burritos just the COOLEST?!! Love this song! There's some color clip of this floating around, with a guy and a gal introducing the band on an adjacent boat. When the announcer says "The Burrito Brothers", the girl says "That reminds me...I'm Hungry!" Ahahaha!

  • i agree man this isnt their best song ever but its nice to see gram parsons having fun acting like a dandy most likely coked out of his head i love his jacket but you cant beat the nudie suits

    Ingram Parsons RIP

  • Gram kicks ass!!!! Sweet

  • Really cool.

  • Gram was so beautiful! What a loss.

  • ¡Qué gran canción! This really ROCKS! Thanx for posting this. Amo este tema.

  • I didn't know Napoleon Dynamite was a member of the band.

  • you mean Chris Hillman?

  • sigh, save us form children and morons...heres your sign.

  • my twenty year old son surprised me when he started talking about gram parsons one day. that is a lasting legend.

  • Looks like Gram had alot of fun on this video with Bernie Leadon, Chris Hillman, Sneaky Pete, and Michael Clarke. A YouTube Burrito favorite.

  • sneaky pete was checkin out gram. y he got his name!

  • still have no idea what you are talking about do you?

  • go fuk ur self he only lasted 5 min he quit under pressure!

  • BRUCE PALMER WAS BETTER MORON

  • His pitch is higher because the video is sped up. The color version is a lot slower, as is the recording. I MISS YOU GRAM!

  • ive seen a color version of this, some one should post that if they have it.

  • This is a beautiful video featuring Gram Parson and FBB.Fun song showcasing Gram's very nice vocal.TY for posting.

  • I love the chord changes in that, Parson's lmost acts like mick jagger in this

  • geezus, Leadon and Hillman look like twins

  • I always get a kick out of watching this vid, it makes my day being an "older guy" myself. These guys were great, thanks for vid!

  • WOW ... thanks i'd never seen this... The FBB doing the Beach Boy's. LOL, this what Brian Wilson would be doing if he wasn't brain dead this time (1970).

  • It's been 10 years since i saw this on a BBC2 doc, Gram at his dandy best!! Tied with the Stones' Start Me Up for my fave video! Thanks for posting it

  • On this, they sound more like the Stones around '66 or Paul Revere & the Raiders, rather than the country-rock sound they helped pioneer.Never knew they ever rocked that hard. I forgot Bernie Leadon was once a member.Like to know who the next group coming at the end was.

  • I'm fairly certain the group coming on next is the Byrds, looks very much like Roger McGuinn at the mic!!

  • reminds me of the monkees....cute and stupid

  • Ever seen the the Goodies?

  • TYHAT MY FRIEND IS BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD A GREAT GROUP LIKE THE BYRDES CROSBY,STILLS, AND NASH! STEVE STILLS AND NEIL YOUNG WERE PART OF THE GROUP! awsome video gram has a beta pitch than the recorded vocal TONE IS MUCH HIGHER!

  • and Jim Messina. Peace!

  • UR A DUMBASS BRUCE PALMER WAS

  • WTF MAN!!! I'm saying Jim Messina was also part of BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD...Just like Stills and Young...Then you call me a DUMBASS and a MORRON?? What is wrong with you man??? get off that shit you are on! Peace Fucko
