your actually playing the wrong part of the bloop, those are just bubbles coming out from cracks on the ocean floor, the low-frequency sound herd in the video lasted approximately 1 minute, that bubble sound was only a second, hence why you played the wrong part of the bloops sound

I'd really love these creatures to be real. I'm facsinated by dinosaurs and exsotic sea creatures, and I've always found the sea to be very mysterious. However, I'm a skeptic at nature and I watch these videos as I would watch a fictional movie. Still, people say we know less about the ocean than we know about the moon, so some suprises from the dephts are sure yet to come:)

Why would the number of sightings be going down? Well maybe it's because people are learning more about the ocean and the creatures that live in it. Therefore, when confronted with something unusual, they're more likely to back up and analyze it before saying anything.

@seko24041973 Actually the bloop is one part of this series where they're actually fairly accurate. A lot of scientists do believe the sound is biological - even more just have no flippin clue. Now, if it is an animal it's not necessarily huge either - it could be using a method to produce its sound we are unfamiliar with. I find it most likely that it's a geological phenomenon which we have no experience with yet, and such have nothing to compare it to.

The drop I beleive is due to a rise in knowledge. Alot of the Mythical creatures such as mermaids and flying sea devils can be matched too Sea Cows and Manta Rays. As knowledge spreads then myths are answerd. Over fishing though is also a cataclysmic destroyer of under seas eco-systems. A creature that may of dwelled beneath the sea's undetected however may of allready died due to a depression in fish stocks
