I would loved for them to make an Exo Squad movie. Having been a fan of that series since I was a boy it would be perfect. It had amazing story, strong characters and ass kicking mechs. As for the gundam series if they go through with a gundam movie then it should be based on the orginal series with Amuro & Char.

I agree 100%. A gundam movie would be awesome. I wouldn't even care from which series. (My personal favorite being G Gundam.) Haven't seen EXO Squad, but will definitely check it out. I feel that making a live adaptation of Gundam, other than that G-Saviour crap, would be more than worth it. I mean just think of how many people would come to see this whether they've heard of it or not. Now-a-days a movie just has to look good, and I believe that with Gundam it WILL look good.

You may already heard of but there was a live action Gundam film made some where in the year 2000 I think. It didn't do so well but with better budget and writers that understand how the series work maybe it would be a success. Infact I wish they make another one and not repeat the same mistake.

UC Gundam has great potential for live action films. 0079, 0080, 0083, ZZ, etc. They are realistic compared to Wing, Seed and Seed Destiny.

Exo Squad, in my mind, has the ability to make a great social impact on the world today. Almost as relevant as Blade Runner. It would be a great movie, if done right. I always keep seeing Bronski having a mohawk though. I know there were quite a few characters in that show with mohakws, but in the movie version -- that's only Bronski.

this man is stupid. Japanese anime can never be made a live action movie. For the most obvious reason there is too many advanced CG actions that is impossible to make into a live action.

Dragonball Z is a the perfect example why Japanese anime can never be made a live movie even with good CG technology. All the anime incorporate impossible actions to be even considered done.

Obviously, you haven't any idea of what Gundam is. I'd really have to say that Dragonball is the worst comparison you could make to it. As an amateur special effects artist myself, I really can imagine everything that ever happened in Gundam Wing being possible to recreate with CG given what's already come out (mainly Transformers). This is just my opinion, of course, but I could really see it working.

I have watch gundam and i have seen the entire seed and destiny series. I doubt it would be possible.

Look at it retrospectively. Japan has been doing CG and animation over 20 years since the start of anime. If the Japanese artist can think of a reasonable effort to turn it into a live action movie they would have done so many years ago with Neon Evangelion and Gundam.

There is a reason why they dont pursue live action anime movies. First its about complexity. Gundam specs are way more complicated than transformers are. Second, they kept it as anime because of originality. They stay away from it to avoid what happened to Dragon Ball.

Also my comparison to Dragon ball is not a bad comparison. Dragon ball requires as much detail.

Well, they did have G-Savior that came out back in 1999 but I heard that it had bad reviews.I'd like to see a live action Gundam movie and I think Shia Lebouf would make a good Amuro Ray. I think it has the potential to be good if the producers stick to the show and not make the movie their way which is why movie adaptation of cartoons and VG usually suck.

I've had two ideas for a live action Gundam Wing movie. My first one is that it should be based on episodes 1 - 7 of the anime, the big difference being that the meeting they attack IS actually OZ and they wipe out the organisation a lot sooner than in the anime.

My other idea would be a sequel to the anime series, with a descendant of Heero Yuy called in by a newly reformed OZ to pilot a reconstructed Wing Zero, in hopes of stopping a space colony from acting out Operation Meteor again.

I would love a Gundam Wing movie, but with that (and most other Gundam series) they would actually have to be really, really careful how they made it.

It could be taken entirely the wrong way, as Gundam sort of toes the line with the main characters being child soldiers. And terrorists.

I adore Gundam, but in a relatively short movie, without the proper time to explain training and motivations and such, it could be very controversial in live action.

I'd still love to see it though!

I'm a big Gundam fan and all i can say is that it has way more potential to become a better giant robot movie then Transformers will ever have. Gundam has a way better story, better characterization, and better robot models that can translate well into live-action without looking corny.

I have watch alot of Gundam series growing up, and probably my main favorites are "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing" and "The 08th MS Team"

Yeah, I would love to see a live action Gundam movie. I do think, though, that it would be a good idea to make the story outside of any of the anime storylines though, since hollywood has a tendancy to ruin live action movies that way.
