It is a shame that the origin of Lucifer is never really explained in any version of the Bible. I once asked the same question too. Then I found out that being a believer doesn't mean that I have Him in my pocket. The truth is that He has me in his pocket, and I have to make the right choices, according to His will in my life,in order to receive his blessings. Sometimes I suffer due to my own poor choices. Meanwhile, as a loving father, he waits patiently wishing that I would return to Him one day. We need to read more of his words to understand his heart, and let those words guide us.

I love Jesus with all of my heart! That's a question that took me a while to understand too. The trials in our lives come from diff. sources, whether God, the devil,our own bad choices b/c of free will ,etc. For non-believers the reasons may be diff. from the believers, as to why bad things happen. For me as a believer, i know that God lets the bad things happen because he wants me to grow and mature. There are lessons that can be learned only through hardships.
