@cw99900a I couldn't agree more! The first time I heard this it reminded me of a merry-go-round or a carnival ride or something. I've been a Jeopardy fan for as long as it's been on, including the Art Fleming days. They should use the 2001-2008 opening and closing theme and the 1984-1997 think music.

I don't know whether to say that it's a good thing that it doesn't include the sound of the clock or not. I mean, it's fitting to include that in there and everything, but at the same token, it could also be distracting because you'd be focussing more on how much time you have left than on what the correct Final Jeopardy Question is.

What I think would be cool is if in the last couple notes of the think music, someone comes on and sings, "Time's up!"

Did you see the 2008 Game Show Awards on GSN? There were some dancers from Dancing With The Stars there, & they all danced to the nominees for the best game show theme ever. It was pretty interesting, & Jeopardy's theme won.

This updated :30 piece of the jeopardy think music for October 2008 until now is actually my favorite.

The :30 jeopardy think music done on the pipe organ (when the show has been on location in the past) is actually very nice too because the audience would give a standing ovation to the organist.

In the September Version, the piano part was covered up by what siundslike a baritone and a few other instruments. In the second half of the song the flute was covered up. Now there is an emphasis on the piano in the beginning and flute in the second half.
