I remember seeing these cats at a little place right off the 5 frwy somewhere by the 710 frwy......maybe Indiana St offramp? I think it was about 1986 or 87ish. I really dug them. I'm an old Punk who first heard Rodney's Punk shows in about 1978 and a major Blues nut, so I dig this kinda shit. I dig RAW music and this is raw.

Fun times pre-Terror Train, The Saddle Sores was a band that was ahead of its time I think.

I saw this band a bunch of times, way back when. They were pretty good for a bunch of guys from Echo Park (Abel), Eagle Rock (Slash), and Lincoln Heights (Pony). Those were some good times rehearsing in my basement.
