Team Canada should have taken Green and Phaneuf to Vancouver... I believe that since Yzerman, although he is one of the BEST to play the game, spent his whole career in Detriot in the Western Conference that explains why the majority of his team are western conference players and why some of the roster are much older. I feel really bad for Green because he deserves to represent his country and I think he has the BEST slapshot among all defensemen in the NHL

Have you ever watched hockey? Green is the worst defenseman in the NHL. Yea he has offensive skill, but most third line forwards in the AHL could get around Mike Green and score. He has no positioning in his zone, can't hit, and doesn't have an ounch of toughness in him, terrible against the boards, and couldn't clear out a Bantam hockey player from the front of the net.
