Let it be is a very powerful and majestic song in terms of arrangement and lyrics.

Since it was interpreted by the Madrigal Singers, numerous choirs tried to give it a shot.

Some sounded trying hard and some performances sounded great.

In this performance, the first soloist was a bit surprising at first and suddenly became flat hitting high passing notes during her solo part.

Being slow might either make the song solemn and touching or more often than not DRAGGING!

I found it dragging and unpleasant to the ears in the last part of the song.

it was nice observation..... but are you aware that the first soloist in this rendition was the same woman who sang the first solo part with the Madrigal Singers. She's one and the same girl!!! she was an alumni of the MADZ

The trio part of the guys is a crucial part of the song that each singer should maintain the right intonation or else it will be easy for someone who knows chorale music to detect that the three guys are not blending well.

Generally the song should start solemn and end majestic but in my opinion, this song was not given the best interpretation.

This arrangement for choir is quite difficult to interpret because it is challenging for a choir to hit high notes and maintain a sound that will not sound like seals squealing.

INTONATION is the main problem in their rendition and the spirit of each soloist conveying the message to the audience.

For sure, the spirit during the moment the choir performed was high and the audience was also mesmerized by their presence on stage. Thats the magic of a live performance that when you review the video, thats the time youll see the flaws and point for improvements.

They are absolutely amazing. It was so beautiful, not to mention inspiring. I hope this would serve as a good example for all the choirs out there. Look at their stage presence. Look at their musicality. These are something to imitate. UE Chorale, I take my hat off for you. Keep up the good work. The world needs more people like you. i was a memeber of the Lyceum Chorale in 1992-1995 we wer handled altogether by Virgilio "kaka" Santos and yes we were able to sing together with the UE chorale then... made friends instead of rivals... congratulations...
