HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEORGE CLINTON, My Funk Super Hero. Protector of the Pleasure Principle. The Energizer Funk Dawg. The Stankiest. HAPPY BORNDAY GEORGE, Thank you for Keepin it on the Mother Funkin One.
OMG just seeing Glen Goins here on Youtube breaks my heart all over again. He was one of my crazy talented best friends who God put on this earth for such a short period of time but I guess he fulfilled his destiny as Parliment/Funk would not be who they are without some of his genius/talent. I was his age when he passed and in all of these years I have yet to attend a funeral such as his...he was so loved. Rip Glen
Are you F,n kidding me!! Who on this earth has ever done a better live performance. I only wish I was old enough to see these guys while they were all together. I live through my older Brother on those experiences. Glen, Gary, Calvin, and so man others were a rare musical blessing I dont think we will ever see or hear again. Thank all of you(Parliament/Funkadelic) for sharing with us
@crush29830 I agree...best live performance..musta been somethin funky in the water in Houston. Got all the singers here: Fuzzy, Grady,Lynn and Dawn , RIP Glen, Ray, Gary, Eddie...
long live the mothership!!!! I saw P-funk allstars somewhere 1997 in stockholm, was blasted on cosmic weed and I remember when Flashlight began.... the crowd freaked out. I wish these masters return, especially with Bootsy on the bass..on the ONE !
Not only mad funky but deep -- one of the most soulful, bittersweet but ultimately joyous creations in the history of groove music. Thanks so much for posting this great live version.
i saw them in the 70s i was blabgasted i love it

Great way to sign off the evening, or morning as it may be ... a little "funkin' around" before lights out.
