A stellar and much better installment in Psychovision's line of films, that not only exploits the isolationism of human beings, but provides motives to psychopaths, although it still recycles death sequences, its narrative is much more intriguing and vague, but vague in a good way.-IronXan pictures.
YOUR WORK IS AMAZING. After I watched through your videos, I became interested in film-making, and I havnt lost it yet. Usually, things like that are just a phase, but I think that film is here to stay, thanks to you. Just the quality of your movies are so great, this video is probably the first thing that made my cringe since seeing old vietnam footage of a civilian being shot in the head an 00 range, and I can tell you that rocked me pretty hard being just a 8 year old at the time. Thanks alt.

Hi - really great to see British guys holding their own when it comes to action/crime shorts on Youtube. Great practical and computer effects, used well and not overdone. Nice one.
@TheFirstFilmCrew You are in luck mate. We just re-edited it as people are interested in seeing it again (like yourself) and we will be uploading it in the next day or so. Watch this space. We also are actually in the process of the re-make, which we are pretty excited for. That will be out at a later point in the year. Thank you for your comments and interest :)
By the way, a no answer wouldn't be a big deal. It's really up to you man. I just think that with both of our skills and with your crew and my crew we could really get some where if that's what your interested in. From one film buff to another I don't think it's a half bad idea.
Thanks for reply, I also wanted to ask you if you would mind going into a partnership. I am always willing to travel and wouldn't mind having your and your crews help. You don't need to give me an answer now, but just think about it. Thank you for your time.
this video kept me going. I have been following you since a vicious circle, just never took the time to give you any props. I like your work and wish I got to see the brotherhood films. I look forward to seeing more of your work. By the way, what was the music that was playing at the part where the main character was jumped?
@TrenchCoatFilms420 Thank you mate, we really appreciate your feedback and subscription. We wished we could get more stuff up on here and more often but we have time problems. We're glad you enjoyed it though pal, thank you. As for the song, I can't remember the title as I'm not at my home PC right now but it was taken from the Lord of War score. It's the film with Nicolas Cage. Maybe check some of the tracks from that and you should find it ;)
Great yet again! Your films always seem to strike the right cord with me, lots of gritty emotion. Whatever happened to the brotherhood films? I loved those as well.
@cware85 Thank you very much, we're happy you enjoyed it and found time to give us feed back. Cheers. We took them down because we really thought it was terrible and really didn't carry across the sort of quality we want to show in our videos. You must have been following us for some time to remember that film, thanks for sticking around and supporting our stuff :) Merry Christmas to you.
@CrunchyCardMachinima We edit in "Sony Vegas Studio", we are using studio 10 at the moment. That is what this film was edited in. The muzzle flashes were done in After Effects.
Excellent work guys as usual. I'm a film student myself and its great to see people make films like this purely for the love of it. I have a few questions if its ok -
1. I've seen your bullet hit tutorial, have used it a few times, but I'm just wondering what method you use to get the timing of the shot fired and the hit going off perfectly? As I've found its quite difficult when the shooter is behind the person being shot.
the timing is a tricky act to accomplish i must admitt but it can be done simply by giving everybody a cue on the set. we count down from three usualy but try and get the pump to go off a few mili seconds before the actors cue which is 1. so it would be like
3
2
(pump)
1
If you practise the timing right before the real thing do it without blood so everyone is sure they know what there doing..
@CountChris The Prop is a metal gas powered BB gun that we got from our town centre in birmingham.. we had to visually add in the muzzle flash and the blowback in post to sell the effect ;)
Thanks for your comment dude hope i helped out in some way
@CountChris Yeah it's kinda sucky really if you don't have after effects, the bb gun we used is also non blowback. You could do it in photoshop, just editing a still image of a frame from the film.
I liked this short, but I felt that some of the lines could have been spoken with a lot more gutso, so to speak. I.E when the protagonist is told to 'get the fuck out' of the car I became quite aware of the lack of weight behind those words. I also found the camera to be a little too shaky at some points. Other than that, spot on!
I always enjoy seeing your videos in my subscription box. I liked this a lot, the camerawork (although a little too shaky at times) was good, the effects were top notch, the biggest area for improvement is your writing. The dialogue is a bit too fake. Keep at it, I like what you lot do.
@JackHoward Thanks for the feedback. I agree about the dialogue but with this sort of narrative we approached it with a sort of "Guy Ritchie" style, the same with "A Vicious Circle". We do like that over the top narrative :P
