I hope in this game that you get to stand there giving and taking damage and grinding for XP whilst stat hawking and gear pining. I really love that about MMO's. All the power of modern technology and not a single innovation beyond 1970's table top D&D. For fuck sakes... someone get out of the box and unleash this genre's potential.

Got to play the test version with a Jedi knight and I thought it was pretty damn cool.

In my opinion it plays pretty much like KOTOR I and II, but with less focus on companions, altough they are still there.

And my male Jedi Knight had the voice of freakin' Solid Snake 8-)

Official release is supposedly in October, but they're taking care to fix as much as humanly possible before they drop the bomb. That way, we'll have an excellent game with few issues instead of a good game with tons of issues.

I'm confused. What can the Jedi Knight do that a Sith Marauder can't, other then not shoot lightning?

@oddfroboy ok my freind lets start over. for each class there are 2 advances classes. jedi knight: jedi guardian, jedi sentinel. sith warrior: marauder and juggernaut. the sentinel is equal to marauder. both are light armored and wield 2 light sabers. guardian=juggernaut. heavy armored and 1 lightsaber.

@SpikerCZ It still is in more or less Alpha testing [Though under the guise of beta] They are ironing alot of the main features down first ;P you can already see a change in the later video's. My friend tells me the game is great, and from what I've seen I agree with him :P All I can really say.

@kristianOLS meh The thing that new MMO's focus on is taking WoW successful parts and implement them into their own style... Why? because WoW is the most successful MMO up to date WoW did it with Warhammer and other MMO's that came before them. So technically WoW can be considered a ripoff of WH. Everyone is going to say this going to be a ripoff of WoW, but I don't really see any rip off of WoW except for the UI or some elements to character models. I'm only going to judge when I play myself.

@SpikerCZ the video was made more than a year ago bioware have made the graphics look much better than last year. when i saw the game in 09 i was like wtf with the graphics and why is the lightsaber hilt the size of a water bottle well the graphics this very day look really impressive for an mmo much better than this video

@joshp6585 No no, its the same as any of their RPGS or like most MMO's you can be any gender, you can also choose what race you are, and yes - all of that is modifiable :D./
