do you still like this thing? comments on amazon and around the net seem like people have a lot of corruption problems with the vids, or when downloading them. any word on that?
hello. can u please load source video from this camrecorder to any filesharing hosting? im thinkg of buying the ones, but utube does not give full hd picture to make decision. i wud like to have a look for visibility of license plates from the opposite direction. sorry for bad english
@hey86x - No battery, it needs constant 12 volts. I just run the power cable through the internal flashings to the power outlet in the centre console. The camera start automatically when you turn on the ignition, the GPS takes a few minutes to sync, but quicker than my TomTom.
@hey86x Hi, see SkepticGronk's comments. It will run for a short period of time with no power, but for all intents and purposes you need a constant 12V supply.
Hi there - I've got the DOD GS600 but i find that with vehicles i'm passing that are on my left, the registration plates are very unclear! I find "blurring" - Your video is amazing in that all the vehicles you have passed the registration plates are clearly readable - Where are you mounting the DOD on your windscreen?

how do you power the camera?
does it have its own battery or use power adapter via cigarette lighter?

Wow! The colors REALLY pop out in your video.

@SCOTTW25 I used Pazera "MOV2AVI" to convert the MOV files, maybe that affected the colours.
