I think it is stupid to let the dog jump trough the window of the car ...if it was for real and not training, the person might have a knife or another weapon inside the car !

That's the risk they are willing to take. Police dogs risk their lives taking down bad guys, just like cops do.

@reavolispepporoni I guess we just think more of the dogs safty here... there is a mollion other ways to stop the driver than to risk the dogs life !

My dad used to be an RAF dog handler :D He once got turned on by his own dog, but luckily it didnt't do too much damage :P
