I've got to say this. This is top notch!. It's LIVE! How many groups can pull this off without needing background support of some sort. A fantastic era of music and creativity.
I ranked this live performance as one of the Top 10 of the era. All musicians are on top of their game. Power and intensity for a live performance cannot be beat. Really amazing to watch at the time and now. Might be Top 5 for the era...still making up my mind on that but it's a contender for sure.

Reb Beach- Very underrated guitarist. Not in the most well liked band but still they were all great musicians. They were pawns when every record label started spewing out bands to sell records in the ealry 90's. Most were crap but they actually had talent.

This may sound cliche, but Winger paints a beautifully foreboding musical tapestry, here. I listen to it with mild trepidation. It brings me back to a "rearward safe zone" (dealing with major anguish and regret, having allowed myself to fall victim to a woman who didn't deserve me).
-Yet it's confusingly therapeutic to think back with this song as armor.

I studied with Rod at Berklee for a semester...underrated? He was voted as one of the top 25 drummers alive by Modern Drummer several years ago...he plays what he wants, when he wants, how he wants and with whom he wants...that's not underrated...that's ratings-don't-matter...
I think this is quality! As powerful as the studio version. And I think Rod Morgenstein is great! So Underrated & he always looks like he's having a ball... The yellow drums look awesome!!
I don't agree. I think people overlook Rod in a big way and take more notice of other 'fusion' players of the era such as Billy Cobham, Lenny White & Simon Phillips. Which is a shame really; Rod has so much skill both technically & musically
Dudez I saw them yesterday in Weert Holland, these guys still love to play their music, they are still phenomenal. Its a shame though, they are playing the "small circuit" They should be the ones, for example, to support a band like Def Leppard in the states instead of Poison (they are really not that good, Stuart should have worn their T -shirt for F*ckzake!!

I studied with Rod at Berklee for a semester...underrated? He was voted as one of the top 25 drummers alive by Modern Drummer several years ago...he plays what he wants, when he wants, how he wants and with whom he wants...that's not underrated...that's ratings-don't-matter...

I think this is quality! As powerful as the studio version. And I think Rod Morgenstein is great! So Underrated & he always looks like he's having a ball... The yellow drums look awesome!!

Rod underrated? I don't think so. He is so respected in the jazz/fusion genre, he teach percussion at Berklee College of Music in Boston too! :)

I don't agree. I think people overlook Rod in a big way and take more notice of other 'fusion' players of the era such as Billy Cobham, Lenny White & Simon Phillips. Which is a shame really; Rod has so much skill both technically & musically

I am glad I had these guys on my radar back in the 80's.
Yeah Sabbath,Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Scorpions were favs, but there was something about Kip's songs and Reb's playing that was irresistible!!

Dudez I saw them yesterday in Weert Holland, these guys still love to play their music, they are still phenomenal. Its a shame though, they are playing the "small circuit" They should be the ones, for example, to support a band like Def Leppard in the states instead of Poison (they are really not that good, Stuart should have worn their T -shirt for F*ckzake!!

So, what year would this have been? Looks 80's to me. I so wish I would have been paying closer attention to these guys way back when. I was a little busy thinking the harder stuff was where it was at. I dug these guys, just didn't pay huge attention to them. Now though, wow, hearing and watching, is a mind blower.
