Hulk left very soon after the Avengers formed, and Captain America came in. the movies like the Ultimates and other variations is mixing things up so the most popular members are there, and staying true to the comics at the same time by including the Hulk.

This turned out to be an okay show - especially the final 2 part episode! When it originally aired I could never get past the stupid armor, space & aquatic suits. But I've fallen in love with the line up and it seems all the characters were done well. I wish it had been touched upon that Jan was a fashion designer. Ant Man makes a great leader for the team.

lol, dude, this cartoon has got nothing to do with the ultimate movie, and neither have both to do with the comics. Different story.s The real story is the comic books the rest is adaptation or use of characters. In the comic books the reason they dont want Hulk, is cause he is alot unstable, and sometimes violent. Cap died, and Iron Man has been with the other avengers, the Mighty. Right now there are tons of avengers teams. Thor had also died, but came back and is yet to rejoin the avengers

I dont think this show is so bad as lots of people are saying but its still not as good as most other new hero cartoons Like Teen Titans for example.

Teen Titans is the best superhero show and the best animated show ever in my opinion.

Other hero shows like Justice League, X-men evolutions, Spiderman Tas and most others are also better but i dont think the Avengers are so bad like many people say.

That's a good point because if it was able to eek by and get a second season we PROBABLY would've seen a total improved revamp (voice actors, animation, lineup, direction, etc.) in the vain of IRON MAN and FF's brilliant 2nd seasons.
