People that are covered are having to file bankruptcy because companies want MORE money. How is this a working situation

We don't have to give the health care system to the government just have the government protect people from the companies.

Competition doesn't always reduce prices. When someone without Health Care goes to see a doctor they get charged sometimes 20 dollars for a portion of a material that they could have bought at Walmart for 10 dollars.

Hospitals aren't competing for business. Instead they take people that don't have money, don't have insurance, and they drop them off in a place that CAN take care of them.

When people go to the Hosptial they aren't bargain hunting. How is any of this competition? can you answer?

I know this is old... but I actually spoke with a Dutch woman that lives in a socialist country called norway. She wouldn't have it any other way.

Everyone pays the same taxes, everyone gets health care, and there is no minimum wage. All the jobs pay enough to survive, simply because no one would work for a job that doesn't pay all the bills.

She says that they do just fine. I can't go to a doctor to make sure that something isn't developing to cause problems in the long run.
