prasad604 one of his songs make poop was wrongfully taken down by Viacomm. He made a spoof of this in his video Viatron Owns Me. After a ton of hate mail Viacomm realized their error and dropped the copyright claim and his video was restored.

The song make poop had no viacomm content in it but was accidently taken down. Probably a typo in the URL. Viacomm every few months sends over a ton of copyright claims and a URL typo was probably the cause.

It is a hard program to learn but you can make some really cool music with it. You can also purchase royalty free music that you can use and not worry about copyright. However I have used independant bands before and they have some great music. Just remember must be original songs not cover tunes.

It is called the safe harbor clause in the DMCA law. Basically if YouTube removes a video when someone files a copyright claim a video then YouTube could not be held liable. It is because of this Safe Harbor clause that I think YouTube will prevail in the lawsuit filed by Viacomm against them.
