Psycho, it was a reality, truly. Not only vending machines, but I remember as a kid in the 70's, the big 'coolers' outside of corner stores, that were 'Coke' supplied. You would walk up to the big metal box, open the lid and pick you green tinted glass bottle of Coke out of the ice it was nestled in on a hot summer day. Beautiful memories.
