  • Never forget in my life, what I witnessed, when Pres. Obama and Elly Wiesel were visiting Buchenwald, this year, this most horrable place of German genocide, among other places, against Jews. It brought tears to my eyes, that Mrs. Merkel was acting like a puppet, robot, shallow words, not at all resonating, missing dignity, humility, what that place was all about. Willy Brandt was kneeing down, rightly so, from his heart, in Poland! A true leader, and most wonderful human soul. I miss him!

  • What can we expect from Mrs. Merkel, when it comes down to war crimes in Palestine? Yes, I am more than aware about our history, nevertheless, if she is not even able to morally evaluate and take action here, what is she about? The lession I learned in my life is, that we better analyse the person, in a leadership position, and not be blind-sided by the position, the have.

  • A very noble statement of truth Lisa.

If we deem ourselves forever bound by a judgment, is it not within us to uphold the moral principals that we have been judged by?

Guilt should not be born by a people living in a different time. The past is how we learn and evolve.

The German leader should be in the forefront to battle hate crimes and become its champion in upholding the moral lessons learned.

Do not cower for you become subservient to the will of the bully.

    Peace!

    Dear Stewart,

What an irony of fate we face here in Germany. The Financial Times had a cartoon today: A Priest reading a newspaper about the handling of child abuse cases in Germany and thanking the lord for yesterday´s news that the head of the Protestant Church was caught drunk driving.

    .... to be continued

  • @2minstral

She made headlines when she was criticized by several politicians from the Chancellor`s party for saying that the military mission in Afghanistan cannot be justified, and calling for a withdrawal of German troops. Mrs. Kässmann resigned today. I salute her outstanding work, respect her decision,

    and am very sad!

Nevertheless, we have the following outstanding women: German Justice Minister has been engaged in a verbal dispute with the chairman of the German Bishops' Conference, Robert Zollitsch, over the handling of abuse cases in the Catholic Church. On Monday, Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger said that the Church had until now not given the impression that it had an active interest in clearing up the cases of suspected child abuse.

  • @2minstral

She also called on the Church to "finally work constructively" with law enforcement authorities. Zollitsch reacted to her remarks on Tuesday by demanding that the justice minister apologize within 24 hours. He also personally telephoned Chancellor Angela Merkel on Tuesday afternoon to complain about Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger's comments.

  • Wednesday, justice minister said she stood by her criticism of the Church's response to the cases of abuse but offered to meet with Zollitsch to discuss the issue.Source Spiegel! Bild:Father of a Victim brings a charge against Bishop Zollitsch and his predecessor to investigate possible cover-ups until most recently! And what about the German Pope? It is time for a reform of the system church. Child abuses happen outside the Church as well, although the cases in the Church worldwide alert us!

  • @Sundrumify - I believe we are in a time that must begin to re-build the foundations of civilization, the church included. I was raised Catholic but know how the church was corrupted under the Roman Empire. It's perversion has been with us since it was led astray by the a ruling class that commissioned Irenaeus to centralize the Christian faith in Rome. Valentinus (c100 - c.160) was the probably the last successful Christian Gnostic theologian that preached the true teachings of Jesus.

  • @2minstral

Was raised Catholic as well, lead a Catholic Youth Group, and faced the belief system of this Church personally in many ways. Read The Gospel of the Second Coming by Timothy Freke and Peter Gandy, which is based on a gnostic text unpublished by the Vatican. It is really worth a reading and covers among other great insights, what you are addressing. Rebuilding requires transparency, and that is what is lacking.

    Thanks for responding,

    Lisa

  • @Sundrumify - Thanks for the heads up. I will look for the book. Is this from hidden Coptic parchments within the Vatican?

  • @2minstral

"In 2005, an archivist at the Vatican Library, known for legal reasons as "V" made contact with the authors; felt morally obliged to inform them that the library had not only possessed a copy of the Gospel of Judas for centuries but also housed many other Gnostic manuscripts that endorsed controversial ideas; and presented a facsimile copy of the ancient work," below! Hay House Book

    ConsciousMedia has an interview!

  • I looked for the book and found something curios.

The book seems to be a comedy, is this the book you are referring to?

  • @2minstral

Please check out timothy freke com and for him here on yt.

  • @2minstral

Both of the authors are internationally respected scholars who have authored many books. The Gospel was presented this way for special reasons.

  • @Sundrumify - Thanks for the links. I will most definitely be reading this book. I went to the web site and viewed a 45 min video by Timothy Freke. Very reassuring. 8O)

  • He resigned!! Financial Times today has the news: The Mythos of Angela?! The message is: No Vision, No Mission, No Leadership, Ego-power-centered, and a strategic player with her power, opportunistic, when it comes to the challenges of this country and worldwide?! Oh! She did very well in the U.S, on the red carpets of diplomacy, and while hugging! We do not need a hugging mother, we need a women with leadership capabilities. She is not, at all, capable!

  • Minister von zu Guttenberg acted, after he found out, that he was not informed in the full about this! The tragedy of these news, among the tragedy of civilians been killed, is, that our chancelor, Mrs. Merkel, was even hesitant to fire Minister Jung until she somehow had to be convinced, to question him?

    ... to be continued

  • Ach du Lieber

  • Of course they cover it up.. the whole point to having any of these air strikes IS to kill civilians... They just spin it so that it isn't called for what it truly is.. Genocide..

  • This is nothing we were killing people by the bushel in Iraq....Smart bombs make for great TV however they are crap since we have started using smart bombs the killing of civilians has gone up...not down, we kill more civilians today than we did during the carpet bombing of WWII...look it up.

  • Innocent "civilians" are murdered by occupying forces everyday in Afghanistan and Iraq... I hope more of these stories break. Thank you.

  • Intentionally targeting civilians or allowing civilians to be killed as 'collateral damage' is an element of counter-insurgency. As opposed to the hearts-and-minds approach which attempts to influence attitudes, the goal is to influence the behavior of a local population; Punish those who have dealings with the enemy and reward those who do not.

I wouldn't be surprised if NATO intelligence knew there were civilians in the area.

  • jung has resigned today..but im still not sure where i stand on this, if you are out with 70 taliban fighters at 2a clock at night, steeling fuel, is the term civilian correct?!

or are you an unarmed taliban?!

  • What it you're just a trucker and they held you there at gunpoint trying to steal your shit?

  • mox... you're a pro!
