awesome. i didn't know about the hiding thing..well in medium difficulty, all u have to do is go straight to the camera(before it gets dark and foggy), hack, go back to the gate, melt the ice, hold on to one of the barrels with telekinesis, and then when peach appears, throw 2 barrels at him and he's gone within 4 seconds..i found that interesting. but ur video is interesing too..didn't try hard yet but soon i will thx for the video :)

The incinerate plasmid is at it's most useful here. You can thaw open the vaults for extra supplies, unfreeze explosive barrels encased in ice and plus, splicers automatically seek out water when they're burning and the only pool of water in this room is right in front of the machine gun turret!

After this point when you have less ammo, you never gain it back. It's definitely better to whip through the level and defeat peaches before hand.

If u want to come out of this level with almost full ammo just don't touch any ammo u find during the lvl leave and after u get ur weapons go pick it all

If you kill a splicer and use telekenises, u have a gun to help.

Telekinesis is the best way to deal with splicers. Even throwing a plate at a splicers head kills them instantly, when usually around 3-5 shots or wrench hits with electric shock kills em. Plus it barely uses any eve.

I'm surprised people don't really use it in their walkthroughs, apart from in boss battles and big daddies.

Everyone's a splicer in Rapture...just that some people are slightly more sane than others. Everyone normal human gets murdered pretty much instantly by splicers or big daddies (as seen in the first level where you come up to Rapture through the bathysphere).

As for Jack (the guy you play, in case you didn't pick that up), you'll find out more about him later in the game.
