This superman ride sucks if you come to the one in marietta,ga it gives you the actual feel of superman flying cause you are upside looking at the ground then at the sky I can't even describe it but you gotta ride it to see for yourself

@pickodegallo thats because that superman is superman krypton coaster, which is the fastest b&m floorless in the world, and i think it also has one of the worlds largest vertical loops, it doesnt give u the flying feeling, the superman ultimate flight coasters at six flags over georgia, great america, and great adventure give the flying feeling, but superman in san antonio gives a freefall illusion due to it being a floorless coaster, hopefully this ends your confusion

This coaster may look boring to some, but it's definitely not. For having no loops and "only" having a ~200 ft drop, it's probably the best bang for the buck coaster out there. The real selling point is how smooth the whole ride is, I love it and can't get enough of it, even if it is called Bizarro now!

@kocabay123 Uhh - the camera was bolted to a nose mount on the front of the train and run post-construction. Look carefully at the pedestrian ways towards the end of the ride(just before the second tunnel) and you notice few if any bi-ped life forms.

Just because something has the same track doesn't really make it the same ride... New features made it a lot more entertaining.

And renaming it has nothing to do with the people dieing, Accidents happen on ANY rollercoaster. the coaster just has story to go with it, read the stuff while standing in line. It will probably be updated again in a few years.

Actually they are totally different types of coasters. And as far as the flying version goes. You should of said nothing compares to the Superman Ultimate Flight in Georgia. I mean they had the first version of that ride. Jersey and Great America got theres after Georgia did ;-)

well it might be a good coaster its just like I'm too used to the really tall coasters, and thats only 3 feet taller than the magnum and this is like a mini version of the Millenium force but it still seems good.

Where do I start, lets just say that there are only a hand full of coaster that push the 300 ft. mark. So for you to say its like a mini version of MF, is sad being that this ride is 100ft shorter and holds its own against MF fairly well. Most of the time even beating it as far as awards. MF was a coaster built 2 break a record like Top Thrill Dragster, and Kinda Ka you get a good thrill, but not so much over all. The rides lack some soul. By ur comment, it seems like you have not rode it yet?

This ride is no where near the greatest roller coaster in the world? Is it great? Absolutely, but there are plenty that are better:

1. Millennium Force (Ohio)

2. Nitro (Six Flags NJ)

3. Montu (Tampa, FL)

4. Kracken (Orlando, FL)

5. Kumba (Tampa, FL)

6. Incredible Hulk (Orlando, FL)

7. Kingda Ka and TTD (NJ and Ohio)

8. Magnum XL200 (Ohio)

This is just my opinion, but to me the above mentioned are far superior.

hmmmm ive always had doubts about this being no. 1 coaster in the world. just doesnt sit right. there are MANY coasters that have more intense drops than this. and one very important thing i noticed is that the drop is straight. WHY. that is the worst thing you could ever do, because then your just simply accelerating as you go down. i dont know i could be wrong, but i really dont feel this is a no. 1 coaster

it is really fun. you have to go to experiance it. plus its being redone to make it better. with onboard audio visual effects (fly throughs, [billboards with holes in them] fire, and more fog and lights) and it'll be purple with new trains. it gives you tons of airtime and the forces in the helix's are amazing. plus the 2 tunnels. the second one usually has fog in it. the newer version is made to tell a story

not true! There was a guy in 2004 who was ejected from the ride probably because he was very tall, but they've upped safety since then and imposed a maximum height restriction.
