My mistake, you are whipping correctly but backward, just not coming toward the eye, which you are supposed to do whether you are right or left handed. You are still doing it okay and do not have the thread coming over top the wraps. After watching 6 other videos on here all doing it wrong I just had to comment on all these internet "instant experts.". No offense to you. Been tying myself... over 58 years. Someone sent me a link to these poor WF examples and I checked most of them.
The whip finish wraps forward only. Not backward nor forward and backward. Forward only. If you go backward , when you pull the thread to close the loop, it will come back over the top of the wraps before being drawn under. I can't believe the number of short WF videos on here who do it incorrectly.
If you wrap forward 'only', the thread will pull under the wraps very neatly. I know that you must know that but just did not think of it when you filmed this.
Actually it is being wrapped forward, I'm left handed. I'm not sure how long you have been tying but one thing you will find out the longer you tie, there are many many ways to do things and there are few rules.
How do you get the whip finisher to play that tune. Thats fucking amazing...
As is you tasche Sir.
Hats off to you
