The writers left too many things open in this installment. Galbadia's leadership going into default with Seifer no longer leading them now that the sorceress is dead. Whatever happened to Galbadia Garden. And let's not forget the skepticism of whether Esthar shares the same fate as Centra with the Lunar Cry. Until Square-Enix producers and directors like Yoshinori Kitase can come up with a sequel, we can go fuck ourselves on that, hunh?
I had this empty feeling when i finished it :L Didn't feel good at all =[ Knowing that I still want to play it, but yet not re-do from the begin makes it suck that i've finished it! And then seeing the ending knowing that it is over with that beautfil/sad music makes it even harder to accept that it's over. I loved this game and will always love it. FF8<3

why cant flippin square enix make voice acting optional, watching this reminds me how much better these scenes are without stupid voice acting, if some people like it then thats fine, but please give us the simple option in the config menu to turn it off.
Players must be given the opportunity to create their own voices for the characters in their heads, use their imaginations, that is what ff is all about.
i like the ending with laguna, hes standing over Rains grave missing her and still loving her, but then turns to see Ellone, Krios, and Ward. almost as if Rain wishes for laguna to embrace the people that love him, to live a happy life and to not be sad for her. Very touching.
everytime i watch the ending, it makes me really want to replay the entire game again. and the only person that i feel bad for is Laguna. the 2 women that he loves both die. but at least his son is the legendary SeeD who kills Ultimecia. And Squall gets with Rinoa in the end, in a way, finishing what his father originally started.
i love when zell throws the hot dog @ the camera and also when selphie steps infront of the camera because irvine's filming random girls :p but no really this game was truly beautiful and never ceased to amaze me. squallxrinoa :D

Making live action movies to great video games or TV shows is very difficult. They either do it perfectly or completely screw it up, almost causing the next world war.

It was indeed a nice, charming game worth to be called a Final Fantasy except for one huge thing: The plot at the end!
I didnt like it: In Esthar, Odine tells the party what to do, they accept it without questioning the slightest bit, (although there are huge logical spots that are not explained!)
some flat "Believe in you friends"- words from Laguna follow, the Party heads Lunatic Pandora fight the Bosses and so on and so till the very end. No Plot-twist, no Reflecting, NOTHING! Thats crappy
I loved everything about this game except for one minor detail..... the stupid draw system for magic. I mean it made it seem like instead of an ability that you could use it was more like an item that you steal from your enemy.

I foyu watched the credits, you will notice Zell was quickly horking one down in the side video. I have also checked numerous sources, and they all confirm it was a hot dog. If you notice, it starts at 11:53 in the video.
Before raine died she had a child and that was 17 years before this took place. Squall is 17 and also was the closest to ellone and treated her like a sister. If ellone and Squall then went to the orphanage then it would all fall into place.
They give more hints than that. If you talk to Laguna, Ward etc in the Ragnorak, they pretty much imply it directly. But there are other hints throughout the game such as the moombas calling Squall 'Laguna' and also details about Raines son that matches Squall's. And of course the ending sequence shows Laguna married Raine which pretty much confirms it. In fact, i always thought it was the whole point of this scene.
Really? Damn, nice! I can't even beat it the first time. I'm stuck at the Bahamut part, but I keep dying. After going through it like 80 times, I got so frustrated and gave up. I want to continue, but I can't win. Those damn dragons have that annoying Breath attack that with just one hit, EVERY SINGLE member of my team died! It's so frustrating cause they use that attack at least once all the time and when they do, I'm done for! I can't even get to Bahamut, much less those two dragons beforehand
Wow I had similar problem, I thought I was good at RPGS but I found the bosses in this game ridiculous. I got to bahamut, and his nuke killed 2 and left Sqaul with 50 hps. This was my first playthrough though. Oh and I couldn't beat Ultimecia.. If or when I play it again, after I re-beat 7/9, I think it will be a lot easier knowing how to junction for the best, got to make your chars have high physical damage I guess. Those ruby dragons were a pain too.
ahhaha yeah, i tried that too. I tried everything, including lvl down and they still kill me with one attack. but i'll try again. im already at the 3rd disc so i need to finish it...

I foyu watched the credits, you will notice Zell was quickly horking one down in the side video. I have also checked numerous sources, and they all confirm it was a hot dog. If you notice, it starts at 11:53 in the video.

So answer me this... is Laguna Squall's father?
Before raine died she had a child and that was 17 years before this took place. Squall is 17 and also was the closest to ellone and treated her like a sister. If ellone and Squall then went to the orphanage then it would all fall into place.

They give more hints than that. If you talk to Laguna, Ward etc in the Ragnorak, they pretty much imply it directly. But there are other hints throughout the game such as the moombas calling Squall 'Laguna' and also details about Raines son that matches Squall's. And of course the ending sequence shows Laguna married Raine which pretty much confirms it. In fact, i always thought it was the whole point of this scene.

Really? Damn, nice! I can't even beat it the first time. I'm stuck at the Bahamut part, but I keep dying. After going through it like 80 times, I got so frustrated and gave up. I want to continue, but I can't win. Those damn dragons have that annoying Breath attack that with just one hit, EVERY SINGLE member of my team died! It's so frustrating cause they use that attack at least once all the time and when they do, I'm done for! I can't even get to Bahamut, much less those two dragons beforehand

Wow I had similar problem, I thought I was good at RPGS but I found the bosses in this game ridiculous. I got to bahamut, and his nuke killed 2 and left Sqaul with 50 hps. This was my first playthrough though. Oh and I couldn't beat Ultimecia.. If or when I play it again, after I re-beat 7/9, I think it will be a lot easier knowing how to junction for the best, got to make your chars have high physical damage I guess. Those ruby dragons were a pain too.

ahhaha yeah, i tried that too. I tried everything, including lvl down and they still kill me with one attack. but i'll try again. im already at the 3rd disc so i need to finish it...
