  • Hauntingly beautiful!

  • I swear this guy is a some kind of visionary.

  • Akira Yamaoka (silent hill's composer) should listen to this song !

  • Comment removed

  • It's sleepy time.

  • Just Turned my wife and brothers and 3 friends into BucketHeads :)

  • Ever since I discovered this man's music I haven't been able to listen to any other artist. I listen to everything from Miles Davis to Buddy Rich to Led Zeppelin to Michael Jackson to the Beatles and on and but ever since discovering his music all other music sounds like shit to me.

  • @ProtestAgainstWhores i wouldent say Led zeppelin sounds like shit lol but i see what you mean.. i try and model my guitar playing after him and its hard because of his unique playing style

  • @Teaglex93 I'm saying that ever since discovering Buckethead most of the other music irritates my ears. Led Zeppelin is good but if you listen to Led Zeppelin right after listening to Buckethead you won't be able to keep yourself from switching back to Buckethead.

  • @ProtestAgainstWhores maybe it depends on the person ive been listening to buckethead hardcore for like 5 years and their are days were its nothing but buckethead and others its just any thing else... whats cool is that to me when its buckethead its so aw inspiring music that when i listen to other stuff it really sticks out.. they compliment each other and nothing ever gets old.. except Roundabout by Yes.. had that on repeat for a month when i was 12 lol

  • @Teaglex93 are you saying yes isnt that great?!?!?!

  • @TheConnord12 no because i never really gave them a listen in depth.. that songs good but i listened to it so much its hard to again

  • i love chicks. so does he.

  • I love this ^_^

  • Amazing!!!

  • it sucks ;)

  • I wish popular music was half as good as this...

  • i like bucketheads weird and creative music...but i really can do without the bucket and his fascination with chickens

  • @nycbassist76 But that's who he is man, what matters is the music this man creates

  • @nycbassist76 blasphemy!! >:o

  • @nycbassist76 Do you even know why he is fascinated with chickens? Dude if you went through what he did you would be too.

  • @SYKban ... lol

  • @SYKban what did he go through?

  • i need my daily dosis of buckethead!!!!

  • 9 people have no genitals.

  • good job bucket head \m/

  • This song is amazing, they should put this song on the next silent hill game

  • 9 people are fucked in the head

  • I started listening to buckethead with my brother, he passed away 3 weeks after he showed me buckethead, now buckethead is the only music besides serj tankian that i listen to. Buckethead is the ghost of my brother, i miss you.

  • @halofannatic So sorry to hear about your brother. But , rather than think of him as a ghost, celebrate his Soul and Spirit :) May the peace of this season and blessings and comfort be upon U and all your family.

  • @smkonwater23

    Thank you, i shall.

  • Buckethead is the first and only artist i have foun that i can listen to all day. i went through my rock then spacey pink floyd and now neither can even hope to compare to what buckethead has done. Never heard such a diverse player. i got my spacey thinking songs then my hardcore shreddy rock out songs. cant believe it was guitar hero that got me into this guy. first failing at jordan over and over again then a gh soothsayer and now im hooked forever. its been 2 years.

  • Masterpiece!! Love it love it!

  • its times like this i wish youtube had a repeat button....thanks for putting this up...my story is...i found padmasana...and i couldnt believe a human made such beautiful music ( cliche answer but honestly ) you can tell he has a great heart...and like i posted on a padmasana vid...he's pure in every sence of the word..its really amazing how you never see bucket haters on these songs...hope he gets better soon...thx again!

  • deserves more views

  • 20,000 viewer :D

  • Man doesn't even need to write lyrics. He says it through music.

  • @Teaglex93 actually I got hooked by whitewash and the rest of colma. but soothsayer is great so thats a good way to get hooked

  • is it me or does he look really dumb in that outfit the actual bucket head tops the cake

  • buckethead has proven that it is impossible to write a bad song.. PERIOD!

The amount of musical genius and emotion he puts in every song is frightening, it seems like he's just pouring his whole soul into his guitar and making it sing beautiful lullabies that caress the mind and ears.

I Love Buckethead and always will! LONG LIVE THE CHICKEN!

  • I love how buckethead always has something that you have not heard and can blow you completely away.

  • Buckethead.

  • Whys herman being brought up? He needs to practice.

  • @hdje39m8 That's why you aren't Buckethead.

  • I hate those dudes who say that buckethead only shreeds

when he got better feeling than any other guitarist

long live BUCKETHEAD... a true GOD!

  • Dude, you are awesome!!! were you planet from?!?!

  • @yakdaniels2 he is from bucketheadland

  • you can get sick of fame but thats permanent .

  • Buckethead decapitated Charlie Brown! Sweet!

  • they to add a 6th star to for this very song!!!

  • I got hooked when I first heard soothsayer, which was about a year ago.

man I can listen to this guy all day. his music is all I need

  • thats how all who love his music fell, trust me

  • Thats one of his two songs, I really loved Big Sur Moon most of all

  • @Teaglex93 straight up !

  • @speaker3600 - dude. DUDE. Same. I just put the music on random, and let the songs play themselves. I drown out every other possible sound except bucket. the best.

  • @neurocosm lol 8 months later and I'm still listening to him, still. buck all day long every day

  • @speaker3600 it will be like that for a while, for ever probably :)

  • @speaker3600 - I just started listening to BH 3 wks ago or so. Wish I would have checked him out when I first heard his name 10 yrs ago. Not since Zeppelin and SRV has any other musician/band made me hunker down and just want to listen to everything they have done, repeatedly!! :)

  • @smkonwater23 I didn't even know what a guitar was 10 years ago

  • @speaker3600 how is ur comment not the highest rated?

  • @speaker3600

How funny. You got into Buckethead around the same time I did (I think I got into him 4 years ago though, not 3) and because of the exact same song. Well, it's not too weird. I actually hear that a lot. There is just something about hearing those first notes of Soothsayer that is completely magical. I felt the strongest sense of zen ever and felt like my life was about to change... and it did. My entire taste in music changed after listening to Soothsayer.

  • @Fluffypopcicle exactly! and when you hear the first riff of that song...it feels as if your being hit by a pound of bricks and then you are reborn

  • when people ask me what my favorite song ever is (and i really get asked that question), i say Machete. you should see the look on their faces. priceless! of course they never heard of it and thats fine with me. keeps the judgemental pricks from analyzing me. Buckethead is more of a necessity for me. like air that i breathe.

  • i love listen to every ones stories, because they all are intertwined in a way thru bucks music and the feelings ppl get when they listen to it

  • im a whitewash addict listen to that song 1000 times a day

  • i can listen to Ghost over and over agian

  • 2:59-3:01 best two notes to ever resonate out of a guitar in my humble estimation.

    **Silently bows**

  • this song falls into a certain category i believe along with Mrs. Beasley, scraps, inferno, and a few others. they are mellowly epic and they show that his speed isnt what makes him "Good" as ppl believe but its his way of playing (i try to stay away from the word emotion when talking about good guitarist because every player has emotion in there music)

  • This song is so amazing...When i first heard buckethead i wasn't sure if i really liked him. Because the second song i ever heard from him was Elephant mans alarm clock. But i have heard hundreds of his songs now and i'm a HUGE fan =D

  • my first was Jordan (and im sad to say it was off of GH2) but my friend looked more into him and i herd like Electric tears and others but after Too many humans i was hooked so i can understand where you come from... Plus this song is Epic

  • My fisrt was We Are One, thanks to Serj of SOAD...

  • My 1st was Too Many Humans, from 100 greatest guitar solo series I dld from limewire. After hearing the song a couple of times I started looking for more of his songs, and ever since I'm hooked.

  • 'Herman Li' Cant compare to Bucketheads versitile guitar skills. There is no way.... All he can do is play fast, and it sound like shit.

  • Herman Li is shit.

  • i hate how people like bucket ,Batio and paul gilbert,etc....are not that well known to to the majority of people who listen to music or mostly shred guitar......But when I ask my friends at school who there favorite shred guitarist is half of them would say herman Li.Later I introduced them to the guys I listed above and more and they never heard of them but loved em' instantly. I don't want buckethead and a lot of other guys to go mainstream but hate how they are not that well known.

  • how old are your friends? lol.

  • haha Dragon force need to speed up their songs... buckethead will eat their face over and over agian

  • herman li sucks dick. the studio version of dragonpenis's songs are okay but he in person cant play for shit. and buckethead is the 8th fastest guitar player in the world while herman li isn't even in the top 15. so shut the hell up. you wouldn't know real music if it bit you in the ass. and this ins't one of his best songs. i really like it though.

  • did you even listen to the solos?

  • herman li sucks fucking hairy balls live dude dragonforce is the most screwed up band of the whole world!

  • -.- so you will never ever touch the musical talent of buckethead or the overall underground fan base he has.... hes the most renowned underground guitarest out there so you can shut your dumb ass up

  • the duck calls are dope

  • buckethead is not a fruit, he the best guitarist in the world, except for hendrix, but if hendix was alive buckethead would beat him, unfourtunately its not just hendrix's playin that makes him the best, its mainly the fact that hes dead

  • the fact that hes dead doesnt make him great its the fact he was kick ass that makes him awesome.... same with buckethead

  • who?

  • you have 0 respect for music.

  • I'm tellin ya, Machete, Ghost, and a few other of Buckie's tracks need to be used in the Silent Hill Games. These are to creepy to pass up!!!!

  • every guitarist has there own thing they do certain licks or riffs they play or just a style they do its just who they are and i respect you opinion like buckethead has his certain shreding licks and then the kill switch and other riffs iv herd in multiple songs

  • I like Big Sur Moon

  • legaata (2 weeks ago) Show Hide -6 Marked as spam | Spam Idiotic clothing and masks, ugly music. This is disturbing, almost schizophrenic.

    ---------------------------------------------

asshole, btw buckethead is a legal schizophrenic... but your still an asshole for insulting the best guitarist's in the worlds music

  • I love the buckethead thing on 1:31

  • well sry but this music is just to much for ppl of your comprehension if u honestly paid attention to the music you might understand it but your doomed to never experience real art of this kind

  • u said it

  • i know my bucket man trust me

  • yes he did. So relaxing.

  • Actually, not everyone understands this style of music, with the feeling/emo/melodic part.

Some prefer the more dry and rhythmic music, like metal and heavier. I am with BH tho

  • don't even need to ask for the 5 stars, seems so obvious, you're an ass hole if you rate anything else :p

  • HAHA amen dude

  • wot i luv about buckethead is u hav 2 understand certain things to understand the songs thats y he isa 1 of my heroes

  • Tonight was the first time I ever listened to Buckethead. This instantly became my favorite

  • thats most of what happens to his real hardcore fans ill admit i was a lil iffy but after i herd Too many humans and notthingham lace i became a fan

  • the first time i listened to buckethead was when i began to listen to dragonforce on youtube cuz i thought they were cool(they suck :D) an i opened a buckethead vs dragonforce vid and i heard soothsayer for the first time.

That was when i became obsesed with his music and im a buckethead fan for life now :D his music makes time go by and makes me wanna jump around and scream lol. yea Buckethead will forever rule

  • I never liked Soothsayer too much, simply because buckethead sometimes tends to loop the

same guitar and shredding riffs for too long and it sounds great only for the first 5 times.

My fav song is "Too Many Humans".

  • Yea it does tend to drag -.- but the live versions are so much better.

Right now I tend to like "Asylum of Glass", and "Siege Engine" off his new album.

I only like a few songs off Electric Tears

  • i think sail on soothsayer is the best chill out song

  • ...

  • exactly what i thought when i first herd this

  • i know...

  • and this is my favorite song to man it just he fucking makes the guitar sing

  • i dunno i usually hate singing, and words are like a title for a picture, or a Label for a woman, see what i mean :)

it's just a lot of emotion coming out of him, unlike 95% of guitarists in this planet, and my dad is on of the 5%, he's baroque guitarist, i saw him playing with his friend pier pitzle, a lil concert in corsica, it was like ...

some parts are just a bit " the same " but this song is truely freaking nice

sorry for my mistakes im fr :)

  • naa its all good i mean my father plays too and i mean i would say hes in that 5% too hes been playing for 30 years and he just makes a guitar sing i tryed to convince him to play like how buckethead does layer guitar or get in a band like that but he says hes too old but yeah this song has so much in it and idk who wouldent like it

  • hehe yh

my father is not rich but he lives of his music :)

  • my dad isnt either hes just a beast at guitar

  • you've got some uploaded things from him ?

  • flying v=HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE!

  • this proves Bhead's got feeling in his music.

    he literally can play ANYTHING

  • the slow intro leading up to an amazing display of instrumental talent.. I get such a rush when listening to this song..

  • this song is really relaxing while driving in traffic jam :p

  • Machete is from Colma, not Electric Tears.

That being said, this song is probably the best one off that album.

  • Thank you for Corecting me and it didnt sound like it waz from Electric tears my friend told me and ill change it asap

  • And some says that he is just another shredder. It's one of the best solos ever!!

  • Sickk ass song man, his songs make me visualize things, it's insane..

  • so relaxing, so buckethead! rock on Bucket!

  • I love this song!

  • its my favorite

  • wats up with his hands

  • Yeah thats true he uses the sane riffs a lot.

  • yes but i think this song is one of his tops idk why its just SO SICK it rocks and its crazy from start to finish

  • lol yeah i know. Buckethead is awesome ! #1 in my books. but im just saying.

  • i know its just lil licks he knows and he puts them in his music

  • Ü yeah man.
