  • creepy fuka

  • @minimay5 boom, you got me

  • my laptop as two program

    windows xp and vista

and i was wondering how to u switch between two programs?

  • Can you do a video about switching to Windows 7 please?

  • some of you? WE ALL HAVE IT DUDE

  • Yes. Think before you post. This video was uploaded on February 20, 2007; around the time Windows Vista was first made available to retail outlets, and started coming pre-installed on new computers.

  • bet you that is the dell inspiron 6400 because i have that same laptop and same colour white and silver

  • If it were you in that sandwich you wouldnt be laughing at all!

  • Is that the dell Inspiron 6400 Laptop????

Also is the Desktop PC the Dell Dimension 8200????

  • yer same here it only takes me 1 or 2 secs to log in i got a 2 gig of ram/512 grafic card and dual core prosesser

  • wow your laptop looks like mine.

  • Same here :D,

I've gots a windows vista laptop.

  • lmao course the desktop is going to faster than a laptop

  • mine quick fast because i'm the only user hehe. try format ur harddisk once in a while it will faster the speed.

  • mine only takes like 1 or 2 secounds

  • depends on how much space you have.mine takes 8 seconds

  • vistas better so it has more to load

  • that would be kewl if they changed microsoft paint idk y but i think it should look more newer

  • that xp was horrible mines faster then that by alot! Ur laptop is one of those XP today Vista tomorow and was made Upgradable 2 Vista early when Vista was almost finished.

  • yeah i ended up buying one of the new 2.4GHz core 2 duo iMac's on August 7th when they came out...i don't have to deal with any kind of windows anymore...and it's nice;

  • ty this video helped me a lot. I was thining abnout buying a new notebook frm dell, and they only offered vista and i didnt really want it becuz i was so used to xp, but now i can see that its no big change :)

  • what were the specs on that laptop? would vista home premium run fine with 1gb of ram?

  • 1.66ghz core duo, 1gb ram --- so, yes it does run fine, but i'd like to have more; i'm thinking of upgrading to 2gb soon.

  • fine, but, not great. Get 2gbs ram instead.

  • The only reason the XP computer took longer, was because it was an older computer. Upgrading to Vista is stupid, you are just paying for a GUI that you can get by using freeware in Windows XP...

  • vista is an OS X wannabe

  • Add Ubuntu with Beryl to that list.

  • vista is awesoe and i say it because i had it

  • Your weird...

  • thank you meg

  • who me?

  • you talk slow

  • well buddy, at the time i happened to be on a lot of pain medication because of a double hernia repair surgery i had a few days prior to filming this video. I've actually found though in practice (i'm work in sales) that when talking about technology you need to talk slow or people get really confused and don't know what you're talking about and it starts to sound like a foreign language very quickly.

  • soz about the surgery and all but what i dont understand is that last bit you wrote about foreign language if anyone is going to have a foreing language it is going to be you buddy youre the asian.

  • Perfect reply and Good video. I learnt a lot from this. 5 Stars.

  • please tell me how to get that city screensaver. Thank you

  • If by screen saver you are referring to my desktop background (wallpaper)....well i don't remember where i found it, but it's a photo of the downtown Chicago skyline at dusk.

  • Sorry u do have The PREMUIM Edition, (My Mistake)However, you did NOT show all VISTA's Features.!

  • You seem to have the very Basic Version of VISTA called VISTA Basic. It Doesnt have all the layers off AERO Rotating in 3D, I may be wrong, But if you Had the VISTA PREMIUM Edition, why did you NOT demonstate the Glass AERO Rotating??? otherwise you will NOT let people see the full VISTA Experience.! VISTA Basic Edition is a Complete waist of Money.! which, is the Edition I think you have.

  • Vista Premium is a complete waste of money...

Why pay for something that you can do for free in XP?

  • whats free in xp?

  • Programs to make your GUI look the exact same as Vista....

  • not exactly the same, they make it look like basic vista, not home premimum

  • Oh well, in that case. Blow $300. lol

Or you could just d/l Ubuntu 7.04, for free.

  • ya, im just making a point, not saying vista 300$ is better

  • mac osx all the way!!!!!

  • the computer booted up much faster than the laptop.

  • yeah but it took a lot longer to get to a usable state

  • I will not buy that shit! Thankyou

  • lol, me 2, maybe in like 3-5 years, MAYBE, but XP is good enough

  • i do agree, if you're happy with vista there's probably no reason to upgrade, unless you like to stay on the bleeding edge of tech. You'll get to skip over vista though if you're going to wait 3-5 years...the next version which is codenamed "Vienna" or "windows 7" will be out in 2009 ...lawl.

  • lol, thats like almost to much to think about, i do like the look of vista tho, thats why everyone has it or wants it, i heard that its one of the harder versions to get around in(expecialy for newer users)

  • how long did it take to install

  • about 30 minutes

  • Hey i just got mine, and i need a 2gb ram to make it go faster.

  • yeah i want 2gb now too..unfortunately mine has two slots...each with 512...so i have to throw ram away to upgrade

  • ouuu shiny, thanks this will help me when ma pops gets vista

  • Im guessing you have too many profiles on your xp desktop, thats why it's taking to long to logging in.

  • i don't even expect it to be fast...only 256mb of RAM...need to put more in, it's baically unusable right now.

  • oh, well im getting the same laptop in a few weeks i cant wait!!!

  • what kind of configuration? how much did you pay for yours? i ended up paying $880 at the time for 1gb of ram 1.66Ghz core duo processor 80gb hd and dvd burner...it was cheap for that kind of system last march when i got it, but probably expensive by today's standards

  • Cool i got one a few months ago. I got 1gb of ram 80gb HD and a Intel core 2 duo proccesor(2.00ghz) it cost me about $1,300. Also a 256mb graphics card w/ high def. sound and a wireless N card.

  • Im getting one with 1.6 ghz intel core 2duo, 80 gb, 256 ati video card, windows vista, tv tuner, 1 gb of ram, true life display, hd sound, and some other stuf for about 1,100

  • nice video

    i'll watch the rest later

looking forward to getting my vista

  • My laptop with a Pentium III is faster.
