i beat sonis unleashed hardest boss battle ever on a sonic game to took me 3 week to do it cuz i kept getting pissed off at it

You can only use the Spin Dash as Pink Spikes and that is to accelerate. That is why you thought that you were using the Spin Dash. I looked in the game manual (yes I actually read those) and there was nothing about the Spin Dash, but I saw the word accelerate on the Pink Spikes wisp and I thought "that must be what he was thinking about for the Spin Dash." There's you're explanation. Oh, and you were still pink while soing it but you kicked out right after your energy ran out.

yeah sonic unleashed was a pretty good game and i enjoyed the werehog stages well iv'e only played it on the wii so...

Yep, you can spindash in this game. But only in pink wisp form. Another Sonic ability that has been "outsourced" to a wisp is the light speed dash, namely to the green (hover) wisp.

I think you can use boost to destroy the enemies in the quick step section, you don't have to stop and do the homing attack unless your boost gauge is empty :)
