even if we had twice the evidence for creationism than you do for evolution you would still call it a blantant lie, because evolution is based on the same thing creation is, "faith" and you don't want to give up your faith anymore than creationists do.

Even if EVERY piece of evidence for evolution was disproved tomorrow that would STILL not be evidence for creationism! You still need to find evidence to support it. Otherwise you have to accept every single creation myth as having the same value. Somehow I don't think you are advocating the teaching of Aztec or Chinese creation myths in science class.

the theory of evolution is greatly supported by having people such as this argue against it. Wow this was only 5min and i lost count of how many straw men this guy threw out. On top of that he keeps picking theories from individual scientists that have not yet been subject to full peer review and acting like the whole scientific community believes them. If all that weren't bad enough he demonstrates that the scientific method does work, then tries to use that to show science is wrong. Not to mention he's obviously not a geneticist and therefore has no business speaking on the subject.

lol...this guy is so inept it's not even funny DNA is excellent evidence of evolution, as are ERV's. Not to mention that just because there were earlier homonids that aren't direct ancestors just means they went extinct and not a direct ancestor. Kind of like neanderthal man, who was intelligent and expressed a lot of human like practices but wasn't a direct ancestor.

The photo caption in the Post article is typical of what happens when mainstream press attempts to cover a scientific subject. Nowhere in the paper reported on ("Genetic evidence for complex speciation of humans and chimps." Nature 441, 29 Jun 2006) do the authors suggest that Toumai was not a human ancestor. What they do say is that Toumai speciated from the ancestral Chimpanzee line and later interbred with Chimpanzees. Toumai went extinct, but these hybrids are ancestral to modern man.
