E38 E39 nav screen swap. 16:9 cassette mechanism

hey man.. i hava the same 16:9 nav mkiv.. where can i get the dvd player you have there? and also do i need the video module in my car to get it ro work?

@prberli You can get a 1/2 DIN player anywhere. Yes, you will need the BMW video module, which I don't recommend. Get a video interface so you have multiple video inputs.

I have a 1998 528i E39 non- navigation version but i want to install the 16:9 widescreen to control the radio and cd changer and just for the cooler look , can i do this out the box plug an play or will i need extra wiring ?
