  • I just like to think of Edward Norton's voice as The Namless Narrator when I read this.

  • @darthkyle1 Chuck Palahniuk is genius, not everything a great writer writes must be genius, there is fucked up and good, but not genius in my opinion.

  • haha i dont even have the attention span to listen to this im just reading comments

  • Does anybody know if the South Park episode Scrotty McBoogerballs was based off this reading? It's the first thing that came to mind while listening.

  • @Schochr05 yeah this is exactly where matt and trey got the idea nice observation

  • Is it weird I've listened to this story at least 10 times? It's so damn entertaining!

  • it reminds me of the south park episode, were the kids write a book, and anyone who reads it throws up, but then they think its the greatest book ever written. lol

  • breathless, pun intended.

  • I get a little bit further each time i listen to it/read it. I'm still pale and queasy.

  • 2 people fainted

  • like 80 people have passed out during public readings of this.

not counting the ones who run to the bathroom.

  • @Robstailey in an interview Chuck said the "faint count" is about 200 now

  • Definitely of the greatest authors of modern-horror, transgressive themes and poetic prose of today! Maybe of all time! He and Cormac McCarthy are my personal favourite American authors!

  • Just talking about this at work today made a guy pass out. He had already heard it. Just the memory of it.

  • This made my sister faint. Swear to God. Hysterical and wrong; loved it. Wonderfully written, wonderfully delivered.
