  • My dad played trombone and jazz accordion in those USO shows in the South Pacific during WWII. He had several great stories about Martha Tilton, including her perfect pitch and helping to tune up the band!

    Great comment, sounds like you've heard some wonderful stories well worth remembering. I really appreciate your sharing this with us. Memories like this make my head spin with wonder. I'm sure she could sing with a perfect pitch any time, and if not it probably didn't matter much.
