I use windows movie maker 2.6 in windows 7. Before when I used windows movie maker 1 and xp it worked fine. I used 2.1 mbps quality to save my video file into my pc. I'm sure this format is the highest quality ever to save by this wmm program. The video file I used had decent audio quality and now after saving or when playing it in the editing bar, it's really so so bad my ear feels like it's hurting. Help me please. I'm desperate.

I have a problem in adding the music. It does not stop playing where I want it to. I kept bringing back the arrow to the last photo, but it keeps on moving along & playing.

A friend tells me that I may need some sort of a sound editor, or some such entity. Can you help?

Basically when you put a song or music onto the audio track...that song or music will play for the entire length of the song. However, you can "trim" the song by grabbing the end of it and dragging it back to a point where you want it to stop.

the only problem now is that the song will end abruptly because you've trimmed it back instead of letting it naturally end...SOME songs have points within the song that lend themselves to a good stopping point without making it sound like you just turn off the radio or something....but if your song isnt like that then you will need to make sure you fade out the song...usually its best to let it fade out starting about 3 or 4 seconds before the end of your video to about 1 or 2 sec past the end

Then just make the size of the screen. You can also make a background by clicking on the bucket with the paint thats about to go SPLAT and choose a color.

Then click on 'A' and if the text toolbar doesnt show up go to 'View', 'Text Toolbar'. then add allllll the words you want!

What's EP?

Windows Movie Maker can only be used incombination with the mentioned versions of windows. It won't work with other versions, or with any form of mac or linux or whatever operating system you have, as far as I know.

Yes, you will need to download the video from YouTube (using an online or downloadable utility) and then convert the video from FLV to something like WMV or AVI. Then you can use the clips in MovieMaker.

I use MP3's. Some MP3's are encoded at the wrong settings -- although I don't know exactly how to fix it. You might look for some sort of audio converter and just save it as an MP3 [or WAV] again.
